Hello everyone, Halloween is coming soon. What activities do you all have? For me, during Halloween, I don't go out. There are only small activities that I do with my family. This time, I will make a pumpkin lantern, or Jack-O-Lantern, which is another symbol that when Halloween comes, you will see this creature decorating houses or Halloween festivals. And the legend of Jack-O-Lantern is also told and passed down. It sounds interesting.
And this time, we will make a Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin lantern. We went to the department store to choose orange pumpkins. In addition to the orange pumpkins that we saw, there were also pumpkins in various shapes, some looked funny, some were strange because their shapes I had never seen before. But I liked them because they were strange and beautiful. When we chose the pumpkin, we paid and prepared to carve the pumpkin into a face.
Before cutting, we looked for a pattern to cut first. What do you want? When we chose, I used magic to draw according to the pattern. There were mouths, eyes, and noses. Today, we got two small ones, so we prepared to make both of them. I slowly drew on the pumpkin with determination. I was very excited because this was my first time. I was very determined to do it. After finishing drawing, cut along the lines I drew. Cut slowly because the orange pumpkin is very thick. It took quite a while to cut it. I wanted it to come out nice. Then cut off the head of the pumpkin near the stem. Scoop out all the seeds inside. Leave the inside of the pumpkin empty to put the candle in.
After cleaning the inside, we still have some fibers to make it look like a big cobweb. Then put the candles inside both pumpkins. When finished, try lighting the candles. The light from the candles will shine through the holes we cut into the shapes. It looks very beautiful. It's even clearer when the lights are off. I like it very much.
In addition to making pumpkin lanterns, my mom also made cookies today. She made cookies in various Halloween shapes. I went while my mom was putting the dough in the molds of various shapes. It was very cute. Then my mom baked it. While she was there, she melted the chocolate to decorate and draw different shapes. I helped my mom a little bit. Lol It was very messy because the chocolate hardened and cooled too quickly. When I squeezed it, it squirted out. But it was so much fun.
And this is Halloween activity with family. It's a small activity but it's happy and full of smiles. I like this time very much. And what did everyone do during Halloween? And I hope everyone likes my post and enjoys it. Thank you for following.Happy Halloween day!
