English Version
Cleaning the computer and making backups, I found these photos of my children, from when we still lived in Venezuela and spent afternoons at my aunt's house, while waiting for their dad to pick us up to go home.
It is impossible not to remember how hard those days were. Using cloth diapers with my little one who was two years old and who I didn't want to force to leave them for a need that was more mine than his. And with the big one, who was more aware, serving as an umbrella so that the terrible reality with the country's economy would not touch him so hard.
Just a few days later my phone was stolen, a couple of motorcyclists who took advantage of the fear that they would get with them, to strip me of the device. Fortunately, the photos were already safe in my private cloud.
Now I see them and think, what would have been their future if we had stayed there, with everything that has happened in these 5 years of absence. Was it the best decision? the most accurate? Maybe there is a 50% for each option of answer, but of what I am sure, is that I continue doing whatever it takes to clear the way that they will have to live when they come out of their cocoons.
My babies are no longer babies, although for a mother we never grow up completely.
