Hoy les comparto estas flores sencillas, pero su belleza creo que está más aun es en su forma de protegerse… con tantas espinas! Acá en Venezuela a esa variedad de cactus los llaman Buche y la otra planta es conocida como “Espina de Cristo o Corona de Cristo” de estas últimas hay en mi casa de dos variedades las miniaturas de color rojo, sé que hay en color amarillo y anaranjadas y las grandes en dos colores una matizada que empieza rojo con puntos rosados y terminan en fucsia y otras anaranjadas.

Today I share these simple flowers, but I think their beauty is even more in their way of protecting themselves... with so many thorns! Here in Venezuela they call this variety of cacti Buche and the other plant is known as "Thorn of Christ or Corona de Cristo" of the latter there are two varieties in my house: red miniatures, I know there are yellow and orange and the large ones in two colors, one nuanced that starts red with pink dots and ends in fuchsia and others orange.
