I see them sitting there all summer. The elderly couple on the little bench in the evenings when the heat is a lot less and the sun is dropping. I always pass them while walking the dog. It feels like the dog senses that they are fragileand he wants to go towards them. Just like he always wants to go and cuddle with little kids because he also knows they are fragile.

I always pull him back because you never if people like it all when a dog races towards them, especially if it is such a big one. They always say:

'It is fine, we also used to have dogs when we were your age'

Where I always something like:
'yeah but he is so big and I am afraid he is gonna knock you guys over'
They smile and knod their heads that it is okay.

And I keep walking. They sit on the bench and hold each others boney fragile hand which are shivering because of their age. They have obviously been together for ages. He put a hand on her leg and smiles.

Being old and so in love while sitting on a bench so sweet just enjoyingthe everyday stuff like the cooler evenings... #lifegoals
