As you know, 1899 series were shot for Netflix. I watched this too and I want to present and share my comment with you.
The creative team of the Dark series; I can say that 1899, a new Netflix science fiction series from Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar, is based on a strange and funny story that will bring up many discussions with its theories.
Subject of 1899:
We know that the series, set in the early 20th century, is about a group of European immigrants traveling from London on the steamship Kerberos to start a new life in New York.
Analysis:
I can say that the first 3-4 episodes of the series are boring and slow. I stopped myself a lot to watch and it takes patience :D
Although it is on the axis of the simple plot, there are confusing events in the following chapters.
I can say that the work of the art department is excellent.
Although there is a tense atmosphere, the music played in the background is great and draws you in.
It's a gripping series, the background music is great, the production design is really awesome.
Questions for viewers:
- What is this simulation?
- Is Elliot alive?
- Why does Daniel want to wake Maura?
- Is Henry really Maura's father?
- What do these experiments give Henry?
- Why is the pyramid symbol everywhere?
- What was the green bug?
- What were the black crystals?
The questions that remain in my mind in the series are really confusing.
If there are followers, they can answer these questions in the comments.
For now, I watched the 1st season, which consists of 8 episodes, and found it very successful.
But I think that the upcoming new season 1899 series will be a bit complicated.
I strongly recommend the series, have fun in advance.
