Good day to you, Hivers!
So I'm a fan of volcanoes - they fascinate me with how majestic and beautiful they are, sometimes with how active they are, and generally, they're just beautiful. I really like hiking them, although it almost always means a hardcore hike.

Well, not this time as Mount Batur is not that tall and steep. Compared to the crazy and tall Teide volcano in Tenerife, Spain, that my partner and I climbed last year, this was basically just a nice walk.

Pretty much everybody climbs it at night to see the sunrise from the top, so going there during the day, we were the only people there. Which was very convenient... because my boyfriend had some secret plans :D

Long story short, I said yes and it was a very nice day ;)
