With the hectic schedule that I have these days, I made a promise to myself to take a break from everything some time and do something that's good for my mental health. For this month, I filed a vacation leave at work which is a day before my rest day. I went home in our province in Argao, Cebu, Philippines to spend time with my family.

A breathe of fresh air, fantastic sunrise, fresh seafood, time well spent with my family and a lot more is something that I was so happy to experience again after a couple of weeks of being so busy with a lot of things.

I'm just so happy to see that glow in my face. It speaks a lot of how grateful I am even with the little things in life. In my stay in our humble home, I made sure to make the most out of it before going back to reality.

I am grateful for what's in the present. Remembering my childhood days while I was here brought me so much joy. I will always be a proud "province girl" with a genuine heart.

Happy Sunday, everyone. God bless us all.
