French Chocolate, they say
His cup of Mocha
Coffee tarp in Sagada
Hello Hivers!
How's your New Year's Day so far? Hope none of us are having any hangover.
We left the wedding reception which we attended on Friday and drove away to look for a place elsewhere to have coffee. At some point the event got boring and people were becoming loud so the husband and I ran away. Bad guests, huh? Lol!
And after driving for a while, we found a little nice diner which is cozy and quiet. They didn't have anything light on their menu except for rice meals and soup among others. We opted for hot cups, mocha coffee for the farmboy and French Chocolate for yours truly.
While there, we talked about a lot of things, one of which is our travel route for the new year escapade. Whilst my brother invited us to a getaway in a resort somewhere in Bolinao Pangasinan, we felt it was too far of a drive so we kept the invitation hanging. My sister too was initiating another swimming trip but in a different place.
We were weighing the options, including our own plan of going elsewhere and doing something completely different. Somehow, we both wanted to have a little more time with nature instead of going for a swim in crowded pools and resorts.
Back to our drinks though, I was expecting that the cup of French chocolate will have some bitterness in it but oh my! It was super duper sweet! The drink tasted like Milo with lots of sugar, lol! The Mocha cup for the husband was better. He said he liked it better than my cup.
Anyhow, we are still away from home after driving off on the previous day. We are in Bontoc right now, preparing for the other leg of our adventure. We had a blast exploring places yesterday and I will be sharing them in my future posts for sure!
Have a wonderful day (night) everyone! Wishing us all great health, happiness and abundance this year and beyond.
