We will talk a little bit about the Slytherin🐍 house, who founded it, its name and some curiosities about it in this post. However, if you still don't know who or what I'm talking about I highly recommend you to buy some good popcorn and watch the 8 movies, you really won't regret it, it's a very nice audiovisual experience. Without more to say let's begin.
Slytherin🐍 is one of the four houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, founded by Salazar Slytherin. Despite its location the students of this house describe their Common Room as a cozy and quaint place. In order for students to be chosen by the Sorting Hat they must possess the particular characteristics that the founder valued most. Those characteristics include: Cunning😉, resourcefulness🤓 and ambition🤑. I was a bit shocked to learn about this and super why I came out Slytherin since I like to be cunning and witty (ambition not so much, only on some occasions) but they were peculiarities that represented me. On the other hand, and as you can notice in the edition, the emblematic animal of the house is a snake and its colors are green and silver.
A curious fact I read while researching this house is that, according to Albus Dumbledore, the qualities Salazar valued in the students he had chosen included intelligence, wit, determination, and "a certain disdain for rules." Dumbledore noted that all of these qualities were possessed by Harry Potter, who was in Gryffindor, but was almost placed in Slytherin. Which I thought was funny, and like Harry Potter, I'm sure the Sorting Hatter would be torn between placing me in Gryffindor or Slytherin house.
Another fact that I think is important to mention is that the word Slytherin comes from a variation of the English verb slithering, which literally means "slithering". Also that their element is water due to the fact that snakes are commonly associated with the sea and lakes, as well as snakes are physically fluid and flexible animals.
Although some may think that Slytherins are overbearing looking wizards, they tend to have the true friendships (even if they sometimes use them for their own ends) and yet they are still very close, caring for each other. Remember once a snake always will be.

En esta ocasión decidí realizar este maquillaje y edición inspirados en una de las cuatro (4) casas de la escuela de magia Hogwarts: 🐍Slytherin🐍. Esta decisión la tomé debido a que hace unas semanas hice un test de “¿a qué casa de Hogwarts perteneces?” Y me salió un 92% Slytherin seguido de un 83% Gryffindor cosa que me gustó mucho. Las películas de Harry Potter me han encantado por mucho y en cuanto la dan en la TV heme ahí sentada viéndola y más si hacen maratón, hasta me compro las palomitas y todo hahaha😂.
Hablaremos un poco de la casa Slytherin🐍, quien la fundo, su nombre y algunas curiosidades de la misma en este post. Sin embargo, si aun no sabes de quien o que estoy hablando te recomiendo muchísimo que te compres unas buenas palomitas de maíz y te veas las 8 películas, de verdad no te arrepentirás, es una experiencia audiovisual muy bonita. Sin más que decir comencemos.
Slytherin🐍 es una de las cuatro casas del Colegio Hogwarts de Magia y Hechicería, fundada por Salazar Slytherin. A pesar de su ubicación los alumnos de esta casa describen su Sala Común como un lugar acogedor y pintoresco. Para que los estudiantes fueran elegidos por el Sombrero Seleccionador estos deben de poseer las características particulares que el fundador valoraba más. Esas características incluyen: Astucia😉, ingenio🤓 y ambición🤑. Me impresionó un poco saber de esto y super porque me salió Slytherin ya que me gusta ser astuta e ingeniosa (la ambición no tanto, solo en algunas ocasiones) pero eran peculiaridades que me representaban. Por otra parte, y como se puede notar en la edición, el animal emblemático de la casa es una serpiente y sus colores son verde y plateado.
Un dato curioso que leí investigando de esta casa es que, según Albus Dumbledore, las cualidades que Salazar valoraba en los estudiantes que había elegido incluían inteligencia, ingenio, determinación y "un cierto desdén por las reglas". Dumbledore notó que todas estas cualidades eran poseídas por Harry Potter, quien estaba en Gryffindor, pero casi fue colocado en Slytherin. Lo cual me pareció gracioso, y como Harry Potter, seguro el Sombrero Seleccionador estaría entre colocarme en la casa Gryffindor o en la casa Slytherin.
Otro dato que me parece importante mencionar es que La palabra Slytherin proviene de una variación del verbo en inglés slithering, que significa literalmente "deslizándose". También que su elemento es el agua debido a que las serpientes se asocian comúnmente con el mar y los lagos, así como las serpientes son animales físicamente fluidos y flexibles.
A pesar de que algunos creerán que los Slytherin son magos que se ven prepotentes estos tienden a tener las verdaderas amistades (aunque a veces las ocupen para conseguir sus propios fines) y que aun así son demasiado unidos, cuidan los unos de los otros. Recuerda una vez serpiente siempre lo serás.
