Miko likes to drink the spa water, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's the temperature because the chemicals in the water can be a bit spicy on his tongue. He's asking me for more water here because he won't drink directly, only from my hands. Momo doesn't want to be left out but doesn't particularly like spa water. She will swim if we let her, but who wants to clean the filters of all that fluff!

Late afternoons in the late winter/early spring are an excellent time to enjoy the spa. The foliage is waking up from winter, the
light is beginning to yellow, and it's time to relax into the evening events. The mind can drift away on the bubbles, and conversation is not rushed between other priorities.

Spa water is probably not too healthy for Miko, so we don't let him drink too often. We'll leave the dogs inside, where they'll sleep on their sheep-skin rug. We stayed a week at an Airbnb, and the dogs loved their sheepskin rug, so we just had to get one for them. It's pricey, but so are most things for pets. I throw sheepie over the dog beds for some added luxury and warmth - which has all but eliminated instances of the dogs waking me up because they're cold. It's like watching angels sleeping on clouds!

We found the rug for a reasonable price at a market in Melbourne. Although the rug had some imperfections that meant it couldn't be sold at top dollar, those were nothing a dog cares about! Floofs for the floofers. And, it's surprisingly easy to clean - beat with a mat brush to remove dust and hair and then hang in the sun.

Yes, I should shave. It'll be a good opportunity to test the razors I want to take to HiveFest.
