Hello everyone, how are you this Wednesday, Must be fun, right? I wish you all good health, and having fun. A few weeks ago I did not post in this community, because I am not healthy, and I have a busy work schedule, as well as the weather in my city is very rainy, thus limiting me from going out of the house. However, today I took the time to tell my journey to visit a cafe that provides delicious grilled chicken and very delicious Teh Tarik. The cafe is called Moorden Coffee, in this cafe we can find a variety of unique designs ranging from the Moorden logo, in the form of one side of a human head wearing the Kupiah Meukutob—the skullcap of the Kings of Aceh, which immediately attracts attention. In addition, creativity can be found in bars and bar tables using pieces of large tree trunks, burlap chair mats, painting displays without using canvas, to the reflection of the Moorden Coffee logo in the small room ready to deceive visitors.
The name of this cafe is inspired by the heroic story of one of the national heroes from my area of Aceh in the fight against Dutch colonialism, Teuku Umar.
In historical records, before fighting in the evening of February 11, 1899, Teuku Umar told his troops "tomorrow morning we have coffee at Kedai Meulaboh or I will be martyred."
In another corner of the cafe, visitors are treated to a mural with the theme of Aceh tourism. One of them depicts the atmosphere of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque with the bustle of the Atjeh Market visitors. The other one documents a Gayo woman picking coffee.
Regarding the menu, this cafe offers many variants of drinks and food, this time I didn't order coffee, but I ordered my favorite Teh Tarik and Ayam Penyet.
Teh Tarik is a sweet drink in the form of a mixture of tea and milk which is commonly found in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. This drink is usually sold by mamak (Muslim Indians) in Malaysia and Singapore, making it the country's national drink.

While the food I ordered was 2 servings of chicken penyet for me and my friend with different levels of chili sauce, I don't like spicy, while my friend really loves spicy chili
The price of a glass of teh Tarik is still very cheap, for hot teh Tarik is priced at 10000 Rupiah or about 0.7 US Dollars, while the cold green tea only costs 1 US Dollar. Pretty cheap isn't it.
As for one portion of chicken penyet priced at 20000 Rupiah or about 1.4 US Dollars
Ok, that's all for today, enjoying Teh Tarik and Ayam Penyet at this cafe filled with the heroic spirit of my local heroes is a memorable experience for me. It's great to be able to share happiness with all of you, happy holidays, and don't forget to always be happy.
