Ayer, junto a mis padres y mi novia nos reunimos para preparar hallacas para esta Navidad, lamentablemente este año mis hermanos no pudieron asistir por compromisos personales. Mis padres habían preparado el relleno el día anterior así que cuando llegamos solo nos tocó armar las hallacas, fue un momento muy agradable en el que pudimos compartir en familia. Siendo sincero nuestra familia siempre ha sido muy pequeña por lo que la ausencia de mis hermanos se hizo notar, aún así no nos desanimamos y con la mejor actitud pasamos un día alegre escuchando música venezolana y disfrutando de unas buenas cervezas.
Yesterday, together with my parents and my girlfriend we met to prepare hallacas for this Christmas, unfortunately this year my brothers could not attend due to personal commitments. My parents had prepared the filling the day before so when we arrived we only had to assemble the hallacas, it was a very pleasant moment in which we were able to share as a family. To be honest, our family has always been very small, so the absence of my brothers was noticeable. Even so, we did not get discouraged and with the best attitude we spent a happy day listening to Venezuelan music and enjoying some good beers.
Al final de la tarde, todas las hallacas estaban listas para ser hervidas y eso fue una sensación muy gratificante, esperamos con ansias la Navidad para compartirlas y disfrutarlas con nuestros seres queridos.
At the end of the afternoon, all the hallacas were ready to be boiled and that was a very gratifying feeling, we looked forward to Christmas to share them and enjoy them with our loved ones.
