A fascinating aspect of photography is the ability to capture the beauty of light and shadow. The perfect squares of light that fall from my window in my house occasionally provide a unique opportunity. The shapes created by the window frame and the position of the sun create a sense of order and symmetry, which I always feel like makes them well suited for black and white. What was interesting about this particular morning was these are normal at angles since the window is not directly across from the image that was projected. But literally the stars aligned (sun) to make the symmetry perfect.
