Hello Hive friends and good day! Today I want to tell you about an event I attended on Sunday, May 24th—an immersive experience blending history, music, and nature.
The Location
The event, organized by the "Il Leggio" association in collaboration with the Italian Blind and Visually Impaired Union (U.I.C.I.) of Brescia, took place in the Seradina/Bedolina Archaeological Park in Capo di Ponte, located in Valle Camonica.
The park is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site No. 94, "Rock Drawings in Valle Camonica." It preserves rock carvings spanning from the Neolithic to the Iron Age, dating back about 8,000 years.
The unique charm of this park, like all the rock art sites in the area, is being completely immersed in nature. Here and there, you come across large boulders carved with scenes of hunting, prayer, and daily life.
The Event
The performance centered around an epic tale written by archivist and historian Simone Signaroli. Much like the Aedos of ancient Greece, he tells the story of an unnamed hero who defeats a dragon. This tale was actually inspired by a monolithic stone in the park that depicts a man fighting a huge serpent.
The story is beautifully written—I highly recommend reading it—and it completely transports you back in time. The chosen venue, combined with live background music composed and performed specifically for the event by molom in collaboration with visual artist Antonello Scarsi, created a truly magical and unique atmosphere.
To be honest, if I hadn't been there representing the Union, I might not have attended. Not because it didn't sound interesting, but simply because it is not usually my kind of thing; instead, I was deeply moved by the skill and passion they managed to convey.
A Different, Truly Special Sunday
The show started at 4:00 PM, and weather-wise, it was a perfect day—30 degrees, warm but not muggy, with a gentle, refreshing breeze that made it very pleasant. It lasted about two hours, and at the end, the park offered a wonderful refreshment filled with local products.
The ticket cost a symbolic 4 euros, a price well below what the experience was actually worth, considering everything included. A short summary of the experience.
I am happy I could attend, but even more so that I had the opportunity, as a U.I.C.I. representative, to actively contribute to organizing such a beautiful day.
The turnout was great, not just from our members but from residents all over Valle Camonica. It was a well-attended and warmly received event, as shown by the satisfaction survey we handed out to our guests.
Art is important for visually impaired people too; not being able to see does not mean we cannot appreciate what surrounds us. As a personal reminder, I promised myself to keep moving forward on this path, offering more and more engaging initiatives to make people's days brighter and lighter, perhaps blending different interests into a single event.
Remember, even if it sounds cliché, life is beautiful and should be lived to the fullest. Of course, we will find obstacles along our way, but with a little patience, everything can be resolved—maybe just with a smile.
Normality does not exist without diversity. Sometimes we are afraid to face it or approach it, but being different does not mean not being considered normal people—and excuse the wordplay, but this is something I really want to emphasize.

Amici di hive buona giornata, oggi voglio raccontarvi un evento a cui ho partecipato domenica 24 maggio. Uno spettacolo immersivo tra storia, musica e natura.
La location
Lo spettacolo, organizzato dall’ associazione Il Leggio, in collaborazione con, l’ Unione Italiana dei Ciechi ed Ipovedenti di Brescia, si è svolto nel parco archeologico di Seradina/Bedolina di Capo Di Ponte, in Vallecamonica.
Il parco, che fa parte del sito Unesco numero 94, con denominazione “Arte rupestre della Vallecamonica”, quindi patrimonio dell’ umanità, racchiude le incisioni rupestri,dal neolitico a quella del ferro,ed hanno circa 8000 anni.
La peculiarità del parco, come di tutti i parchi di incisioni della zona, è quella di esser immersi nella natura, dove, qua e là, si trovano grossi massi con dei disegni ritraenti scene di caccia, di preghiera e di vita quotidiana.
l’ evento
Lo spettacolo è incentrato su di un racconto epico, scritto da Simone Signaroli, archivista e storico, che racconta, come facevano gli Aedi nella grecia antica, la storia di un eroe senza nome che sconfisse un drago. Questo racconto è ispirato, appunto, da una pietra monolitica dove vi è un uomo che lotta con un enorme serpente.
Scritto veramente bene, vi consiglio la lettura, è immersivo, oltre a riportarti indietro nel tempo. Il luogo scelto per la presentazione, le musiche di accompagnamento, scritte e suonate dal vivo appositamente da molom, in collaborazione con l'artista visivo Antonello Scarsi, hanno creato un atmosfera veramente magica ed unica.
Sinceramente se non fosse stato un evento di rappresentanza per l’ Unione, forse, non avrei partecipato, nonperchè non era interessante, ma perché non è il mio genere, ed invece sono rimasto colpito dalla bravura e dalla passione che sono riusciti a trasmettermi.
Una domenica diversa, direi speciale
Lo spettacolo è iniziato alle 16.00, metereologicamente è stata una giornata perfetta, 30 gradi, caldo, ma non afoso, accompagnato da un’ arietta solleticante, a tratti frizzantina, quindi ci si stava veramente bene. La durata è stata di circa 2 ore, ed alla fine, il parco ha offerto un rinfresco molto apprezzato con prodotti locali.
Il costo irrisorio della giornata è stato di soli 4 euro, una cifra molto al di sotto del meritato, visto tutto il completo offerto. Un piccolo riassunto dell’ esperienza.
Sono felice di aver potuto partecipare all’ evento, ma ancor di più di aver avuto la possibilità, come rappresentante U.I.C.I., di aver contribuito attivamente all’ organizzazione di questa bellissima giornata.
L’ affluenza è stata molta, non solo da parte dei soci, ma dell’ intera popolazione della Vallecamonica, partecipata e accolta veramente bene, così risulta dal sondaggio di gradimento a cui abbiamo sottoposto gli ospiti.
Anche per le persone non vedenti l’ arte è importante, non vedere non significa non apprezzare quello che ti circonda, e come monito personale, mi sono promesso di continuare su questa strada, offrendo sempre più iniziative coinvolgenti per rendere le giornate più piacevoli e leggere, unendo magari più interessi diversi in un unico spettacolo.
Ricordate, anche se sembra retorica, che la vita è bella e và vissuta pienamente, certo, troveremo qualche ostacolo sul nostro cammino, ma con un poco di pazienza, si risolverà tutto, magari, semplicemente con un sorriso.
La normalità non esiste se non esistono le diversità, ed a volte siamo spaventati ad affrontarle e a porci nei loro confronti, ma esser diversi non significa non essere considerate persone normali, e scusate il gioco di parole, ma questo ci tengo a ribadirlo.
