Short news from the cryptocurrency world
1-Gemini and Genesis could generate more negative effects in the crypto sector.
Gemini (the digital exchange founded by twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss) and Genesis (a company in the crypto world) are facing legal problems.
As far as Genesis is concerned, the problem stems from the fact that part of its capital is locked in a trading account on FTX.
Gemini, on the other hand, had an EARN section in which Genesis support was provided. This was an important section for Gemini and it was forced to shut down the service. Now the SEC (US Securities and Exchange Commission) has accused Gemini and Genesis of selling securities in the Earn section in an unfair manner.
2-XRP: one of the whale's most popular tokens
A movement of 400 million XRP was recorded. This trading made XRP the most traded token among BSC whales. WhaleAlert found that some whales in the crypto world moved XRP tokens worth around $150 million in 24 hours. Whale Alert is an advanced blockchain tracker that shows various important data regarding the daily exchange of cryptocurrencies.
3-Australia wants to protect crypto investors.
Australia has no intention of hindering cryptocurrencies, but it does want to regulate the sector in a way that allows for their healthy spread. For now, the government's idea is to issue a document in which the digital assets to be regulated will be published. The government's plan is to issue this document early this year.
The government's intervention will be wide-ranging and perhaps even amend some of the financial laws already in place, and the mission is to protect the crypto investor, not to shut down the crypto world.
My opinion
1-Gemini and Genesis were hit hard by the collapse of FTX. The situation is not the best for the two companies. It will have to be seen if they can stay on their feet. I believe that Gemini will have problems, but will be able to absorb the losses it will have over time. For Genesis I don't know, I think its future is quite at risk. It's amazing how the collapse of FTX has created problems on a large scale.
2-XRP is a project I don't know very well. It was certainly born from a brilliant mind, that of Jed McCaleb, who later created STELLAR. In Coinmarketcap's list XRP is now in sixth place. I am surprised at this position, but this news makes me realise that perhaps it is me who has not properly understood the importance of XRP, or at least, the data and this news seems to say just that.
3-The attitude of the Australian government is, in my opinion, the right attitude a nation should have towards cryptocurrencies today. Australia is starting to think about changing the financial system to introduce cryptocurrencies and at the same time safeguard investors. An attitude that is looking towards the future and towards the inclusion of cryptocurrencies in a nation's financial system.

1-Gemini e Genesis potrebbero generare altri effetti negativi nel settore crypto.
Gemini (l’exchange digitale fondato dai gemelli Cameron e Tyler Winklevoss) e Genesis (società del mondo crypto) stanno affrontando dei problemi legali.
Per quanto riguarda Genesi, il problema deriva dal fatto che una parte dei suo capitale è bloccato in un conto di trading su FTX.
Gemini aveva invece una sezione EARN nella quale veniva fornito il supporto di Genesis. Per Gemini era una sezione importante ed è stata costretta a chiudere il servizio. Ora la SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission statunitense) ha accusato Gemini e Genesis di aver venduto nella sezione Earn dei titoli in maniera scorretta.
2-XRP: uno dei token più graditi dalle balena
E’ stato registrato un movimento di 400 milioni di XRP. Questa compravendita ha fatto diventare XRP il token più scambiato tra le balene BSC. WhaleAlert ha riscontrato che alcune balene del mondo crypto hanno spostato token XRP per un controvalore di circa 150 milioni di dollari in 24 ore. Whale Alert è un avanzato tracker blockchain che mostra diversi dati importanti per quanto riguarda lo scambio giornaliero di criptovalute.
3-L’Australia vuole tutelare i crypto investitori.
L’Australia non ha intenzione di ostacolare le criptovalute, ma vuole regolamentare il settore in maniera da consentirne una sana diffusione. Per ora l’idea del governo è quella di emettere un documento in cui verranno pubblicati gli asset digitali da regolamentare. Il programma del governo è quello di emettere questo documento proprio nei primi mesi di quest’anno.
L’intervento del governo sarà ampio e forse modificherà anche parte delle leggi finanziarie già in corso e la mission è proprio quella di tutelare il crypto investitore, non quello di bloccare il mondo crypto.
La mia opinione
1-Gemini e Genesis sono state colpite pesantemente dal crollo di FTX. La situazione non è delle migliori per le due società. Bisognerà vedere se riusciranno a rimanere in piedi. Io credo che Gemini avrà problemi, ma riuscirà ad assorbire nel tempo le perdite che avrà. Per Genesis non saprei, credo che il suo futuro sia abbastanza a rischio. E’ incredibile come il crollo di FTX abbia creato problemi su vasta scala.
2-XRP è un progetto che non conosco molto bene. Sicuramente è nato da una mente geniale, quella di Jed McCaleb, che successivamente ha creato STELLAR. Nella lista di Coinmarketcap XRP si trova oggi al sesto posto. Sono sorpreso di questa posizione, ma questa notizia mi fa comprendere che forse sono io a non aver compreso bene l’importanza di XRP, o almeno, i dati e questa notizia sembrano dire proprio questo.
3-L’atteggiamento del governo australiano è, secondo me, l'atteggiamento giusto che oggi dovrebbe avere una nazione nei confronti delle cripto valute. L’Australia sta iniziando a pensare ad una modifica al sistema finanziario per introdurre le criptovalute e nello stesso tempo salvaguardare gli investitori. Un atteggiamento che è volto verso il futuro e verso l’inclusione delle cripto valute nel sistema finanziario di una nazione.
