HashKings: My First Day, My First Purchases and Evaluation + How to Plant a Seed
I decided to play and invest in several blockchain-based games because I am convinced that they will be the future of the gaming industry.
I have a natural preference for games built on the Hive blockchain because Hive is my favourite blockchain project but mostly because I consider Hive the ideal environment for blockchain-based game because Hive is fast and has no transaction costs.

Today I added a new game to my list because I started my adventure on Hashkings.

Technical Requirements and How to Login
The technical requirements to play Hashkings are as follows:
- 1. You must have a Hive account.
If you don't have a Hive account you can easily create one in a few steps.

Game Requirements
In Hashkings players play the role of a cannabis grower.
Hashkings is not a free game and in order to start playing and earning in-game rewards you must purchase a combination of NFT and a minimum amount of fungible tokens (HK Water):
In the following image you can see a possible combination of NFT and the amount of HKWATER tokens needed to perform a Harvest operation.
The Harvest operation yields a certain amount of BUDS tokens.
BUDS tokens are fungible tokens and are also second level Hive tokens.
In the game of Hashkings there are 5 types of NFT:
- Avatar
- Land Plot
- Seed
- Consumables
- Water
Note: NFT Seeds are lost when harvesting.
There are three types of fungible tokens: HKWATER, BUDS, MOTA.
In summary:
- The HKWATER tokens are needed to perform the Harvest operation.
- The Harvest operation allows you to get BUDS tokens as a reward.
- BUDS tokens can be burned to obtain MOTA tokens or can be used to create NFT (Joint).
- The Joint NFTs are consumable game elements and when used, they increase your experience points (XP) and therefore your game level.
- The MOTA tokens can be placed in stake within a pool to obtain Seeds (NFTs).
My first purchases
I had already bought an Avatar several months ago, so I focused on buying a Land card and a Seed card.
In order to choose the best combination of NFTs to buy I built myself a table in which I entered the following data:
- Land NFTs for sale on the market and their price
- Seed NFTs for sale on the market and their price
- Sprouting time
- Minimum and maximum reward of the Harvest operation
- The values of the tokens: HIVE(SWAP.HIVE), HKWATER, BUDS, MOTA.
Starting from the input data I calculated
- the average profit per Harvest (in SWAP.HIVE tokens)
- the cost to carry out the Harvest expressed in HKWATER tokens and in SWAP.HIVE tokens
- the estimated profit:
- per Harvest
- per day
- per month
- per year
- the estimated annual ROI.
I chose to buy the combination of NFTs with the highest estimated annual ROI value.

I have purchased:
- 1 Land South America card: 9 SWAP.HIVE
- 1 Seed Panama Red card: 0.0375 SWAP.HIVE
I spent a total of 9.027 SWAP.HIVE.
How to Plant a Seed
After my purchase I went to https://farm.hashkings.app/play and did the login.
Then I clicked on the image of South America (arrow number 1 next image)
Then I clicked on the image indicated by arrow number 2 in the following image.
On the next screen I clicked on the Panama Red seed image and then clicked CONFIRM on the Hive Keychain
I have successfully planted the Panama Red seed but without water (HKWATER) my seed will not germinate.
I went to https://tribaldex.com/trade/HKWATER and bought 504 HKWATER tokens and spent a total of 0.009576 SWAP.HIVE.
I went back to Hashkings and clicked on the watering can symbol.
Now all I have to do is wait 7 days for the harvest operation.
From the harvest operation I will get a quantity of BUDS tokens in the range of values [264 - 318].
In the most probable case, the average case, I will receive 291 BUDS tokens whose current value is 0.16005 SWAP.HIVE.
I have spent a total of 9.036576 SWAP.HIVE (9.027 + 0.009576) and in seven days I will most likely have recovered 1.77% of my initial investment.
Obviously this percentage value will be lower if the value of the BUDS tokens decreases and will be higher in the opposite case.
Conclusion
With today's post I wanted to introduce the game of Hashkings to my readers and show how easy it was to start playing by buying the cards from the NFTMart site and buying the HKWATER tokens from TribalDex.
As you can see from the diagram in the image below, the game economy of Hashkings is very large and today I have only shown a small part of what can be done in Hashkings.
In the next few days I will study the other features of the game and I will immediately purchase a Water Tower card which will allow me to get a daily amount of HKWATER tokens and consequently will allow me to decrease the cost per Harvest and will allow me to increase my estimated profit.

Requisiti Di Gioco
Su Hashkings i giocatori rivestono il ruolo di coltivatori di Cannabis.
Hashkings non è un gioco gratuito e per iniziare a giocare e raccogliere le ricompense di gioco è necessario acquistare una combinazione di NFT e un minimo quantitativo di fungibile token (HK Water):
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere una possibile combinazione di NFT e il quantitativo di token HKWATER necessario per effettuare un'operazione di Harvest.
Dall'operazione di Harvest si ottiene un certo quantitativo di token BUDS.
I token BUDS sono fungible tokens e sono anche token di secondo livello di Hive.
Nel gioco di Hashkings ci sono 5 tipi di NFT:
- Avatar
- Land Plot
- Seed
- Consumables
- Water
Nota: gli NFT Seed vengono persi nel momento in cui viene effettuato l'harvest.
Ci sono tre tipi di fungible tokens: HKWATER, BUDS, MOTA.
In sintesi:
- i token HKWATER sono necessari per effettuare l'operazione di Harvest.
- l'operazione di Harvest permette di ottenere come ricompensa i token BUDS
- i token BUDS possono essere bruciati per ottenere i token MOTA o possono essere utilizzati per creare NFT (Joint).
- gli NFT di tipo Joint sono elementi di gioco consumabili e se utilizzati permettono di aumentare i punti esperienza (XP) e di conseguenza permettono di aumentare il livello di gioco.
- i token MOTA possono essere messi in stake all'interno di una pool per ottenere Seeds (NFT)
I miei primi acquisti
Avevo già comprato diversi mesi fa un Avatar e quindi mi sono focalizzato sull'acquisto di una carta Land e una carta Seed.
Per scegliere la migliore combinazione di NFT da comprare mi sono costruito una tabella in cui ho inserito i seguenti dati:
- NFTs di tipo Land in vendita sul mercato e relativo prezzo
- NFTs di tipo Seed in vendita sul mercato e relativo prezzo
- Tempo di germogliazione
- Ricompensa minima e massima dell'operazione di Harvest
- I valori dei token: HIVE(SWAP.HIVE), HKWATER, BUDS, MOTA.
Partendo dai dati di input ho calcolato:
- il guadagno medio per Harvest (in token SWAP.HIVE)
- il costo per effettuare l'Harvest espresso in token HKWATER e in token SWAP.HIVE
- il profitto stimato:
- per harvest
- per giorno
- per mese
- per anno
- il ROI stimato annuale.
Ho scelto di acquistare la combinazione di NFT con il valore del ROI stimato annuale più alto.

Come Piantare un Seme
Dopo il mio acquisto sono andato su https://farm.hashkings.app/play e ho fatto il login.
Poi ho cliccato sull'immagine del Sud America (freccia numero 1 immagine seguente)
Poi ho cliccato sull'immagine indicata dalla freccia numero 2 nell'immagine seguente.
Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato sull'immagine del seme Panama Red e poi ho cliccato su CONFIRM su Hive Keychain
Ho piantato con successo il seme Panama Red ma senza acqua (HKWATER) il mio seme non germoglierà.
Sono andato su https://tribaldex.com/trade/HKWATER e ho acquistato 504 token HKWATER e ho speso in totale 0.009576 SWAP.HIVE
Sono ritornato su Hashkings e ho cliccato sul simbolo dell'innaffiatoio.
Adesso non devo far altro che aspettare 7 giorni per effettuare l'operazione di harvest.
Dall'operazione di harvest otterrò un quantitativo di token BUDS compreso nel range di valori [264 - 318].
Nel caso più probabile, quello medio, riceverò 291 token BUDS il cui valore attuale è di 0.16005 SWAP.HIVE.
Ho speso in totale 9.036576 SWAP.HIVE (9.027 + 0.009576) e in sette giorni avrò con molta probabilità recuperato l'1.77% del mio investimento iniziale.
Ovviamente questo valore percentuale sarà inferiore se il valore dei token BUDS diminuirà e sarà superiore nel caso contrario.
Conclusione
Con il post di oggi ho voluto introdurre il gioco di Hashkings ai miei lettori e mostrare quanto è stato semplice iniziare a giocare acquistando le carte dal sito NFTMart e acquistando i token HKWATER da TribalDex.
Come puoi vedere dallo schema nell'immagine seguente, l'economia del gioco di Hashkings è molto vasta e oggi ho mostrato solo una piccola parte delle operazioni effettuabili su Hashkings.
Nei prossimi giorni studierò le altre funzionalità del gioco ed effettuerò fin da subito l'acquisto di una carta Water Tower che mi permetterà di ottenere un quantitativo giornaliero di token HKWATER e di conseguenza mi permetterà di diminuire il costo per Harvest e mi permetterà di aumentare il mio profitto stimato.
