Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

pngegg_1_.png

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

.

.

The Swamps of the Living Moss.

The Swamps of the Living Moss is one of the strangest territories that the Kingdom of Anumun can present to its inhabitants and visitors. An indefinite territory, as indefinite are its inhabitants. The Mosses that inhabit this territory do not have a definite form, but can easily and skilfully take any shape they wish, any shape that does not have to be regulated by the senses.

Generally, the magic powers of the Kingdom of Anumun are known to be the most powerful in the entire Splinterlands, but the magic powers of the inhabitants of the Swamps territories are much more powerful: among the most powerful in the Kingdom of Anumun.

The inhabitants of the territory might seem strange and inhospitable to visitors, but this is false. The Mosses are among the most hospitable creatures in Anumun. If a visitor enters their habitat then he or she will be welcomed with the best wishes, will be taken on a tour of the territories and will be offered hospitable gifts and services. Appearances are often deceiving, and here appearances are very deceiving.

Legend has it that the Swamps of The Living Moss was founded by a mythical creature: The Living Moss, to be precise. A creature of infinite powers that can defeat any being.

The inhabitants of the territory include Anphibians and Snorkelfish.

.

.

Swamp Thing

Resembling a Human body, but made of mud and moss. With some tree-like features. Swamp Thing is one of the creatures that inhabit the Swamps of The Living Moss. A being with very strong magical powers, but with a strange physical form. He is not defined as a being as such. He was once a Human: Claudius Greenforth. He lived in Lyveria, his hometown. During the Second Invasion, he took part in the military campaign called by the Kingdom of Humans to face the armies of Mortis alongside the ranks of the Kingdom of Anumun. Since then he has lived imprisoned in the lands of the Swamps Of The Living Moss. Since that time, he has worked constantly every day to regain his old physical form and be able to return to Lyveria. He cannot leave the lands of the Swamps until he is summoned by someone with the ability to do so.
.

.

MITICA VILLAGE

Mythical Village is one of the two remaining villages of the original 7 Villages that once stood within the Kingdom of Anumun. 7 Villages for 7 Tribes, each with its own characteristics and prerogatives. 7 Villages, 7 Tribes, 7 sacred orders. After the Splintering, and after the Second Age, only 2 Villages remained of the once 7 in the entire Kingdom of Anumun. One is Mitica Village, the other is Palavan Village: belonging to the Mitica Tribe and Palavan Tribe respectively. At one time, the 7 Villages formed the real life of the Kingdom of Anumun and the 7 tribes interacted with each other in times of both peace and war, both for trade and harvest. Then the tribes suddenly shrank drastically, only two survived the Splintering and the Great Invasions. Two tribes remained, the bravest, the toughest, the truest.

MITICA HEADHUNTER

Mythic fighter of the Mythic Tribe, one of the two remaining of the original 7 tribes that populated the Kingdom of Anumun. Like all his kind, he is short in stature and the circumference of his head is five times that of a human. Always committed to the defence of his territories, born 280 years ago, entering with his soul into the body of his ancestor, he remains to this day a symbol for his village and for the whole Kingdom of Anumun. The Mythic Tribe has this peculiarity, when a member of the tribe dies, the body does not decompose. The soul of a new entity enters that body, causing multiple personalities to succeed each other in the same body. The last great fight he took part in was against the neighbours of Palavan, a historical rival of the Mythic Tribe.

From previous episodes

" You ... you ... you are ... no way!" said Sinder.

"I am Claudius Greenforth!" exclaimed Swamp Thing loudly.

"You said that the scriptures spoke of some visitors who would save you and take you with them to Lyveria,' said Sinder.

After a moment's pause he added: "Do you think we could be the visitors the scriptures spoke of?"

"His name within the scriptures was Dúnadan, which in our language means man of the west," replied Swamp Thing.

"Man of the west?" asked Sinder.

As he spoke those words, his hands began to glow with a pulsing light that radiated throughout the Spellbook.

Just then the prophecy seemed to have been fulfilled, the scriptures had spoken the truth.

You are our guest pt.3

Taking a walk for the Humans turned out to be a great weapon against the food that kept arriving, they lost a few minutes and in addition burned a few calories to be able to eat without being full all the time.

The second day ended with a rich dinner of typical dishes from the Village of Mythica.

The third day was about to begin and with it also the coming and going of the orderlies who brought them food.

"I really hope this is the last day here," Finnerick said to his companions.

" It's all in our hands, only we can put an end to this," said Claudius.

" One more effort!" said Sinder trying to motivate his friends.

The third day of uninterrupted eating seemed to be going well, the Humans alternating meals with long walks in order to work off all that food ingested.

"We certainly can't say they didn't let us eat!" said Finnerick jokingly.

" Eheheh that's what they want!" replied Claudius.

Finally, after much effort, the third day was also coming to an end.

At the same time as the last meal, two officials and an ambassador arrived along with the orderlies.

"Wow! So many people!" said Finnerick.

" Shut up Finn!" said Sinder.

The ambassador took the floor:

" Dear Human friends, dear Sinder, last Summoner born in the Kingdom of Anumun, I hope your extra days spent in our village may have been worthy of our hospitality! The Chieftain cares deeply for you, which is why after you have eaten the last rich meal offered by the Village of Mythica you will be summoned outside the Great Hall of the Chieftain's Palace to receive his blessing!"

It seemed that all their efforts were coming to an end.

So, as soon as the attendants served them and last delicacies, none of the Humans complained about too much food and they all began to eat that last meal.

"This is it guys!" said Finnerick, swallowing the last bite.

" Are you ready?" asked Claudius.

"Quite ready," replied Sinder.

The Humans then set off towards the place they had been shown. Awaiting them was a large crowd of villagers and all the officials of Mitica Village.

A large stage had been set up and well looked after.

The Humans were invited onto the stage and the last major part of the ritual began.

"Tonight our Human friends will know whether or not they can leave our Mythical Village. Welcome the Humans, friends of Lyveria, welcome Sinder, the Dunadán, the last Summoner crowned in our magical Kingdom," said an auctioneer.

There was spontaneous, roaring applause from the crowd that was watching.

"Prepare to welcome our Chieftain," said the town crier again.

The Chieftain was greeted by his crowd with a huge ovation.

" Brothers, friends, Humans. We have come to the end," said the Chieftain.

"Thank goodness... " said Finnerick softly.

"Finn, damn it! Sew up your damn mouth!" said Sinder to his friend.

" The three extra days of hospitality we have given you have come to an end. Everything seems to have gone smoothly, was everything to your liking?" asked the Chieftain.

The Humans merely nodded, smiling.

"You look much more relaxed and rested, the rest and food has done you good!" said the Chieftain.

Spontaneous applause broke out from the crowd.

"Will you be ready to resume your journey?" said the Chieftain.

The Swamps of the Living Moss

Spesso l'apparenza inganna, e qui l'apparenza inganna parecchio.

Da allora vive imprigionato nelle terre dello Swamps Of The Living Moss.

" Uomo dell'ovest?" chiese Sinder.

" Sta tutto nelle nostre mani, solo noi possiamo mettere fine a tutto ciò" disse Claudius.

" Ci siamo ragazzi!" disse Finnerick ingurgitando l'ultimo boccone.

" Siete pronti?" chiese Claudius.

" Prontissimi" rispose Sinder.

" Menomale... " disse sotovoce Finnerick.

" Finn, diamine! Cuciti quella dannata bocca!" disse Sinder all'amico.
