Uno dei vantaggi del mio lavoro stagionale (una stagione da almeno 6 mesi se non vado all'estero) e' che nel “pacchetto” c'e' anche il vitto e l'alloggio.
L'alloggio non incide molto in un contesto di spese annuali ma 6 mesi di vitto da non pagare ( quasi 9 se ci metto dentro anche
Cuba) fanno una bella cifra.
Poi chiaro, dopo 3 mesi di mangiare di ristorante lo stomaco non ce la fa piu', almeno il mio, tanto che da quando sono rientrato tiro avanti a insalate, petti di pollo e riso in bianco.
Pero' e' palese come 6 mesi senza fare la spesa incidano eccome sul bilancio economico di ognuno di noi.
Tutti siete entrati in un supermercato e sapete di cosa parlo.
Rientrato sabato, nel pomeriggio vado a fare la spesa al solito Carrefour di Giaveno.
Ad una prima occhiata, rispetto a giugno (non a 3 anni fa...) tutto e' aumentato di un buon 20/30%, oltre agli aumenti che c'erano gia' stati durante e dopo la pandemia da cui non si e' piu' tornati
indietro.
Per non parlare della benzina in autostrada a 2.2 euro al litro.
Non solo.
Verso le 18 vado nel solito bar sempre a Giaveno che frequento per colazioni ed aperitivi.
Ordino un bicchiere di Donna Fugata, il ragazzo mi chiede se volevo delle noccioline...
“Noccioline? Anche no. Portami il solito piattino di sempre con gli stuzzichini”.
Mi spiega che da luglio gli stuzzichini erano stati sostituiti da un piccolo tagliere di salumi e formaggio la prezzo di un euro.
Cioe' prima della pandemia c'era il buffett, poi sono arrivati i piattini ora se vuoi qualcosa da spiluccare tiri fuori un euro.
Non e' per l'euro e' che mi stai chiedendo del denaro per una cosa che fino a ieri era compresa nel prezzo del vino.
In futuro fra villaggi turistici e Cuba mi tocchera' sempre meno fare la spesa.
Per fortuna.

One of the advantages of my seasonal job (one season from
at least 6 months if I don't go abroad) is that in the "package" there is
including food and accommodation.
Housing does not have much impact in the context of annual expenses but 6
months of food not to be paid (almost 9 if I include it too
Cuba) make a good amount.
Then clearly, after 3 months of eating in restaurants my stomach didn't work
I can handle it anymore, at least mine, so much so that since I got back I've been shooting
forward to salads, chicken breasts and white rice.
But it's clear how 6 months without doing any shopping really has an impact
on the economic balance sheet of each of us.
You've all entered a supermarket and know what I'm talking about.
Back on Saturday, in the afternoon I go shopping as usual
Carrefour of Giaveno.
At first glance, compared to June (not 3 years ago...) everything
it increased by a good 20/30%, in addition to the increases that existed
already been during and after the pandemic from which we never returned
backwards.
Not to mention petrol on the motorway at 2.2 euros per litre.
Not only.
Around 6pm I go to the usual bar in Giaveno that I frequent
for breakfasts and aperitifs.
I order a glass of Donna Fugata, the boy asks me if
I wanted some peanuts...
“Peanuts? Not even. Bring me the same old plate with the
snacks."
He explains to me that since July the appetizers had been replaced by a
small platter of cold cuts and cheese for the price of one euro.
That is, before the pandemic there was buffet, then came the
saucers now if you want something to nibble on you take out a euro.
It's not about the euro, it's that you're asking me for money for something
which until yesterday was included in the price of the wine.
In the future between tourist villages and Cuba it will affect me less and less
go shopping.
Fortunately.
