❌ Hive NO es la solución a tus problemas financieros [ENG - ES]

La mayoría de las personas que llegan con altas expectativas de obtener ingresos en Hive, terminan abandonando en el primer mes.

La primera vez que escuché sobre este tema fue en el podcast Cripto Cuates de @eddiespino y @shadowmist. En aquel capítulo, Eddie y Shadow discutían acerca de la tendencia al abandono que existían en las personas que comenzaban en #Hive una vez que dejaban de ganar grandes recompensas, sobre todo después de haber obtenido un buen voto en su post de Bienvenida.

Luego de casi un año de haber comenzado, he ayudado alrededor de diez creadores de contenido a adentrarse en Hive, teniendo un índice realmente bajo de permanencia, cosa que no me hace sentir orgulloso pero que como buen resiliente me ha ayudado a entender los procesos por los que pasan las personas que llegan con altas expectativas a Hive. Y por supuesto, actualmente cada vez que voy a darme a la tarea de promover el uso de la web3, tengo sumo cuidado en no alentar esas expectativas.

Hive no es la solución a tus problemas financieros, ni a los míos, ni a los de nadie. Si tenemos eso presente, entonces probablemente nuestro desempeño como creadores de contenido se vea beneficiado.

Existen otros incentivos además del dinero para integrar Hive, la propiedad sobre tu contenido, creo, es el mayor. En la Web2 tal cosa no existe y aunque aparentemente a nadie le importe, ser no solo propietarios sino consciente de que lo somos, es solo el primer paso para un despertar masivo hacia la Web3. Ser parte de eso va más allá de cuanto ganamos o dejamos de ganar. Ser parte de algo tan grande como Hive (y perdón si lo romantizo) no tiene capitalización de mercado, es simplemente ser revolucionarios en el más amplio sentido de la palabra.

The first time I heard about this topic was on @eddiespino and @shadowmist's Cripto Cuates podcast. In that chapter, Eddie and Shadow were discussing the tendency to abandon people who started in #Hive once they stopped earning great rewards, especially after having obtained a good vote in their Welcome post.

After almost a year of starting, I have helped about ten content creators to get into Hive, having a really low rate of permanence, something that does not make me feel proud but that as a good resilient has helped me understand the processes by those who pass by people who come to Hive with high expectations. And of course, nowadays whenever I go to promote the use of web3, I am very careful not to encourage those expectations.

Hive is not the solution to your financial problems, or mine, or anyone else's. If we keep that in mind, then our performance as content creators will probably benefit.

There are other incentives besides money to join Hive, ownership of your content, I think, is the biggest. In Web2 such a thing does not exist and although apparently nobody cares, being not only owners but aware that we are, is only the first step for a massive awakening towards Web3. Being part of that goes beyond how much we win or don't win. Being part of something as big as Hive (and sorry if I romanticize it) has no market capitalization, it is simply being revolutionary in the broadest sense of the word.
