Today i decided to explore a for me new area to walk and take photos .

1 ) The open field next to the parkinglot already promised some autumn colors to be found today.
2 ) That path we will take next time , today i will be going the opposite direction.
3 ) The info board at the parking lot , today i want to walk around the lake .
4 ) Some basic rules , it's private property after all.
5 ) All the Berch trees turned yellow , a nice contrast against the green pine trees .

7 ) They also seem to have mountainbike tracks for people like 
8 ) Finally i reached the lake , there is a fence arround it , this photo was taken while resting my camera on the fense . That is why you don't see the fense in the picture. Also a nice spot for time-lapse photography one day , would love to
9 ) When you walk arround the lake , i was also hearing woodpeckers in the trees .
10 ) On the other side of the lake there is this wide open field of heath and wild grasses , might be a good spot to find some bigger wildlife in the early hours , although there also seem to be wolves in this area .
11 ) The path along the lake with the fencing i was talking about , the wildlife can get through to drink or hunt.
12 ) Nice reflections on the water surface , some really nice spot for time-lapse photography .
13 ) Makes me wonder how this would look wit a little bit of snow and the lake covered with ice
14 ) A differend angle on the open field with the heath , wide view of clouds .
15 ) Where do we go today ? It's getting late beter go right and back towards the carpark before the sunsets .
16 ) To bad that it is cloudy , not all colors poping out the right way , a litle bit of sunshine would have helped.
17 ) One dead tree , maybe i will convert this one later to monochrome , i have more photos of that tree just in case ;)
18 ) And then this Beech tree yellow and orange stunning.
19 ) Another part of that open field , I should go back next year to see that field of heath flowering, it always smells very sweet.
20 ) More beech trees on the way to the carpark .

22 ) Late afternoon sun trying to shine from behind the clouds .
23 ) If you are looking for directions this is how you can find your way back in most of our forests .
24 ) More roads to explore another day .
25 ) Well , I didn't expect to find this in the middle of a forest , natural gas pipe lines .
26 ) Almost back at the car , i did find a lot of mushrooms during this walk , but those will be posted tomorrow on Fungi Friday .
