"Some compliment and Gifts From Customer"
I have mentioned in several previous posts that I started working in my current job five months ago. Recently, I was promoted to restaurant assistant manager, which came as a pleasant surprise. After experiencing several breakdowns and bouts of depression, this promotion was one of the best gifts that Allah has given me. During my time as a cashier, I received many compliments, gifts, and flowers from customers, and today I would like to share some of those experiences.
Story #1:
Shortly after I started working, a couple came in and I took their food order. While I was having my lunch later on, I noticed that they were still there. When I looked at them, they remarked that I was very cute. I thanked them for their kind words.
Story #2:
Some regular customers came in one day and brought me several flowers. It was apparent that they had just come from a visit elsewhere. I took their order and after a while, they handed me the roses and said that they were for me. I was quite surprised but thanked them with a smile.
Story #3:
About a month ago, one of our regulars came in and greeted me with a smile, saying that it had been a while since he had last visited. We stood and talked about his order for some time, and then he reached into his bag and handed me a piece of chocolate, saying that it was my gift for Chocolate Day. I was quite taken aback by this gesture. There were many more beautiful moments like these, but it would be impossible to recount them all.
