Man, I Suck at Axie. Who has any advice for a day one noob?

So, I agreed to take over a scholar account for one of my friends and I have no idea what I'm doing. We all have basically the same team and I watched them do several fights but I still feel really lost when actually playing the game. (it's only been one day, but I like to win).

Also coming from Splinterlands, I want the battles over ASAP. I can't be sitting around playing this game for 5 minutes a match and losing every single match.

So How do you win when playing Axie Infinity?

I get the basics... rock paper scissor gameplay and understand I have a tank and 2 damage dudes. But, once the cards come out, I'm basically lost.

I just found this website so at least I can read what all the cards do - https://www.axieworld.com/en/tools/cards-explorer

Does anyone know of any better sites to learn about the game?

Once I have an understanding of the cards, where can I find guides on the best way to play the cards in order?

Here are my 3 Axies...

Are you playing a similar team?

If you are playing something similar, I'd love any advice? I hate losing especially when it's not just my account I'm losing on.

Any help for a total noob would be much appreciated.

Anyways, thanks for reading!

If you made it through the whole post, I just wanted to say for sticking around. I'm going to start watching some beginner videos and reading up on tutorials now before wasting any more energy.

I'll be posting more Axie content as I get a better grip on the mechanics of the game and hopefully start winning some arena matches.

I also post regular advice on Splinterlands over on Splintertalk if you need help with that game. Most of my guides are based on Bronze League with free-to-play decks and the new reward cards.

If you're not playing Splinterlands yet, why not? Splinterlands is a similar game with faster gameplay in a fantasy setting. It's also much cheaper to start playing Splinterlands. Sign up to play Splinterlands here
