We've been meaning to do this for a long time, but today my mom, sis and I finally got around to cleaning up an area of our family basement that has been a thorn in our side for a long time.
The house we all live in together is on a hill and from the basement you can almost walk outside at ground level where we like to grill, drink coffee and party.
That's why we have lots of dishes in the basement, so you don't have to run upstairs every time. Only unfortunately, so much stuff has accumulated there over the decades that there was only chaos in the cabinets.
In fact, everything you see on this photo will leave the house. Crazy isnt it? So many things! Partly really pretty ones, but you can not use them all, so away with it...
But whoever may think, we have no more dishes in the basement ;-) is totaly wrong. Finally, however, the cabinets are tidy and you can also quickly find what you need.
So you see on the last photos, what can still stay here! Haha, still quite a lot I must confess, but after we have decided all three together it was in the end more than one alone would have picked up, because our tastes are very different.

Aufräumen im Familienkeller
Wir hatten das schon lange vor, aber heute haben meine Mom, meine Sis und ich uns endlich mal daran gemacht einen Bereich unseres Familienkellers aufzuräumen, der uns schon lange ein Dorn im Auge war.
Das Haus in dem wir alle gemeinsam leben steht an einem Hügel und vom Keller kann man fast ebenerdig ins Freie gehen, wo wir dann gerne grillen, Kaffee trinken und feiern.
Deshalb haben wir im Keller jede Menge Geschirr, damit man nicht jedes mal nach oben laufen muss. Nur leider hat sich da im Laufe der Jahrzehnte soviel Zeug angesammelt, dass es nur noch Chaos in den Schränken gab.
Tatsächlich alles was ihr auf dem ersten Foto seht darf also weg. Verrückt oder? So viele Sachen! Teilweise echt auch hübsche dabei, aber man kann sie ja nicht alle benutzen, also weg damit...
Aber wer jetzt denkt, wir hätten kein Geschirr mehr im Keller ;-) der irrt sich gewaltig. Endlich aber sind die Schränke aufgeräumt und man findet auch schnell das, was man braucht.
Also seht ihr auf den letzten Fotos, was noch alles da bleiben darf! Haha, auch ziemlich viel muss ich gestehen, aber nachdem wir zu dritt entschieden haben war es am Ende mehr als einer alleine aufgehoben hätte, weil unsere Geschmäcker doch sehr verschieden sind.
Trotz allem, auch wenn es jetzt nicht Minimalismus pur ist, so war es doch ein guter Erfolg und ein schönes Gefühl! Jetzt dürfen der Frühling und die Grill Saison kommen.
