One of the weekly events in the #PukuMundo community is #singingvoice which has entered its 61st week. That means the Pukumundo Community is getting better and better. So, today, we are back again at the PukuConcurso LaVoz Cantante event for this week. The song we are playing today is a cover song called "The KKK Took My Baby Away" which was written by Joey Ramone (vocalist in the band Ramones) in 1981. This song is one of the favorites of Punk and rock music fans around the world. I got to know the Ramones when I was a teenager playing Guitar Hero. To me, they are amazing Punk Rock Legends.
La canción The KKK Took My Baby Away nos hizo disfrutar y nos dio muchas vibraciones a mí y a otros fans del punk rock. Para mí, la música de los Ramones y la voz de Joey Ramone son inconfundibles e inolvidables en mi memoria. Esta canción es una de las favoritas de los fans del punk y del rock de todo el mundo. Conocí a los Ramones cuando era adolescente y jugaba al Guitar Hero. Para mí, son increíbles leyendas del Punk Rock.
From the lyrics of the song written by Joey Ramone, it sounds like a complicated romance. A love story that is not approved because of racial differences. Because what I know is that Joey Ramone has a girlfriend named Linda Daniele who is the sister of John Holmstrom.
