Greetings everyone. I'm so glad to share my thoughts with you . It's my third time posting in this community, and I hope I'm welcome.
I was wondering on what to share with you people today, but, as the day unfolds, I, was able to get a nice topic, to share with you.
I must confess, this topic that I'm about sharing, would blessed your souls.I, will be talking on what I title who is your anchor?
It might sounds nasty in your ears, but believe me ,as you read further, you will get to understand it.
This, is not a rhetorical question which doesn't require an answer.It is a question which demand an answer from each and everyone of us.
You will answer for yourself, while I will answer for myself.The first time my Father showed me what an anchor looks like, I was really amazed.
It was made of iron, and it was bended.So I asked him how it was being used, and he said i,t is used by the fishermen.
According to him, it is been put inside the river, in order to sustain the boat.It was a good explanation indeed.
This anchor that I just shared with you, was a man made anchor.But, the one, I will be deliberating on, is the supernatural anchor,and also, an everlasting anchor, which is Jesus Christ.
*WHAT IS AN ANCHOR **?
An anchor, is anything that can preserve, or sustain people for a longer period of time.
In Christianity, anchor represent hope and salvation.Jesus , is our anchor.He's the solid rock on which the church stand on.
Let me ask you a question, have you ever think of how your life would have been if Jesus was not there as your anchor? Life, wouldn't have been meaningful without him.
He's the only anchor that keeps us from trouble.We, are fasten to him, and he's fasten to us.He never allowed us to go astray.He keeps us in the hallow of his hands.
Jesus is our anchor.Look at how our country is, no money ,no food, no good health, no peace, but; with that we're still strong and elegant.
Don't say you survived; because; of how committed you are.You survived because you have an everlasting anchor which can never be moved.
There's nothing as good as having someone; who looks after you.He fights for you and gives you victory all the time.
**THE BENEFITS OF HAVING AN ANCHOR **
They're so much benefits one can get from having an everlasting anchor like Jesus Christ.
First, boldness.Yes, it's true that anyone, who has Jesus as his or her anchor would be bold.He or She would be free to proclaim the holy name of Jesus anywhere and at anytime.
One, cannot give an account of someone, whom he or she has not benefitted from, even in our localities. But; they could only give an account of someone, whom they have benefitted from.
Even as I'm sitted, I'm bold because of the one whom, I'm working for.And, I hope, you're bold as well.
Secondly, Peace of mind.Anyone, who refuses to have Jesus as his or her anchor is peace less.You will see a husband, beating his wife, and Children, beating their parents.
These are proof to show you that Jesus ,is not in their boat.They're driving alone.And, that's why, when the storm arises, they sink so easily.
Such people, have no peace.Their hearts, would be troubled.But; I, suggest, if they want to have peace, they should strive to hold unto this anchor.
Jesus Christ is our anchor, and anyone who wishes to survive in this hard economy, must hold unto him.He never sleeps nor slumber.He's always there, to say no, to the storms of life.
