Gothic old architecture-the #monomad challenge

Hello friends
Today we sit in the time machine and move to the 13th century
When the photographs still did not exist.
The cathedral is at the foot of the Cantabrian Sea in this small town.

Then King Alfonso VIII of Castile ruled
When it was finished it was the fifteenth century

I cannot imagine the work that would be in those times to move the stone that is now sick and shows its scars, the torture of the sea air has made their stones sick and now they take care of them with great care.

She is beautiful, her image held high giving protection to all the people.
It is the most popular Gothic church in Cantabria, Spain.

See its walls and its arches, its height and think how they worked in the cold northern winter, where the waves pick up momentum and almost reach their base.
Its stylized arches make the view spectacular, full of charm and beauty.
