Hail to the Hive!

I ventured out today to specifically find this piece of street art from the ‘Bring the Paint’ Festival as I’d spied it being started a week ago and was curious to see the completed work. The weather had forecast some ‘orrible weather so I made a dash out while it was vaguely ok and at least not raining and was very glad I did. Isn’t she beautiful?

This was actually painted in black and white so making it a #monomad entry was a no brainer and it really pops in monochrome. The clouds at least make for good photography even if they make it a crap summer day.

I always get odd looks as I’m out and about taking photos and I took my time with this one as I wanted to make sure no people in shot and the right cloud dynamics as a backdrop to the building and am pretty pleased with the results. She’s a stunner!
