Incredible Street Art: Benin Revenant Dance - Black&White - #monomad Challenge

Peace

Morning to all art fan and passionate of culture,

How are you doing?

I had a fantastic week, so far, after an interesting weekend.

My first two hours of rest after work this week was put to good use.

It was not as sunny as I would love the weather to adjust to my desire, the light shined on the city. There was not a single wave of hot air in the area.

My plan on the morning before resuming work was to visit the street art avenue not too far from home.

Let's discover the piece the artist created for us

My entry in the #monomad challenge is the black and white photos of the revenant under a traditional costume, dancing to please the ancestors.

I enjoyed strolling around in the neighborhood. It was fun to walk under this gray light colored sky.

The last two weeks were intense in the area due to celebration of the Independence Day. The town city law enforcers took down the barriers preventing free passage to pedestrians on the avenue.

--

I found this particular representation of the dance of the spirit coming back from the world of the dead, an excellent artistic production.

--

If I am not mistaken, this section of the longest art wall in the western region of Africa was completed a few days ago. It must have been difficult to work under the constant flow of tourists visiting this area during the celebration day.

The photos in this article are black and white. I hope to share with the readers and passionate of culture the artist energetic message in their artwork.
