Monomad: Portraits in natural light - with Valentina [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Taking portraits in nature is one of the things I've been enjoying the most in the last few months. I have learned to play with certain natural environments to enhance the final result in the photographs and also to highlight the model with what surrounds us.

Hacer retratos en la naturaleza es una de las cosas que más he estado disfrutando en estos últimos meses. He aprendido a jugar con ciertos entornos naturales para potenciar un poco más el resultado final en las fotografías y también el destacar a la modelo con aquello que nos rodea.

In this photo shoot I did with my friend Valentina, we took advantage of an open space, honestly I could not describe what part of the park belongs to, I only know that when it rains the place fills with water and people can bathe, but taking advantage that it was dry and there was a good source of light I asked Valentina to sit there, plus her dress fit perfectly.

En esta sesión de fotos que hice junto a mi amiga Valentina, aprovechamos un espacio abierto, honestamente no sabría describirles a qué parte del parque pertenece, solo sé que cuando llueve el lugar se llena de mucha agua y las personas se pueden bañar, pero aprovechando que estaba seco y había una buena fuente de luz le pedí a Valentina que se sentara allí, además que su vestido daba encajaba a la perfección.

Even having a quite strong natural light, I had to use the flash of the camera to give these touches of light necessary to illuminate Valentina in some photographs, since the photographs were backlit, then taking advantage of the built-in flash of my camera so that the shadows were not so hard and this allowed the photographs to be more balanced between the background and Valentina.

Aun teniendo una luz natural bastante fuerte, tuve que utilizar el flash de la cámara para dar estos toques de luz necesarios para iluminar en algunas fotografías a Valentina, ya que las fotografías eran a contraluz, entonces aprovechando el flash integrado de mi cámara para que las sombras no fuesen tan duras y esto permitió que las fotografías estuviesen más equilibradas entre el fondo y Valentina.
