The penguins at the Calgary Zoo are fun to watch and you can tour around their enclosure while they are just hanging out in the open doing the things that penguins do. Its much cooler inside their enclosure than it is outside so it can also be a nice respite form the heat. Their are at least 4 different species of penguins here, Gentoo, Humboltdt, King and Rockhopper. They have been here for around 10 years now and seem to be thriving. Every day if the conditions are right they will take the penguins for a little walk outside as well which is fun to watch and maybe something I should try and capture next time I am there.
