Monomad: Floods

These are images from the Alberta floods back in 2013. Calgary was particularly hard hit as we have two rivers that wind through the city, the Elbow and the Bow. Both of these overflowed onto city streets after several days of heavy rainfall. The damage was large, but there were very few fatalities, fortunately with only 1 person being reported dead throughout the event. All of the areas pictured with water are streets and alleyways. It was hard to believe that something like this could happen, but it can at any time.
