Mantua, Italy and its different architecture

Mantova, Italia. That is how Italians spell it, instead of the English "Mantua, Italy".

At first, it felt to me like a typical city from the Northern part of Italy.

However, the more time we ere taking walking the city streets and enjoying the architecture in its old center, the more I could tell there is such a big difference.

On that particular photo-travel we went to several cities, towns and villages but I could clearly distinguish this one!

I gotta tell you, I felt something cold and dark, walking around the Duchess Palace, despite the fact it was a lovely warm spring day... The last photo in this series:

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by @monochromes, supported by @qurator, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
