Hello #Hive monochromatic friends!... Welcome to a new edition of my black and white street photography series for #monomad... Lately I've decided to take my camera backpack with me almost every time I go out on the street. No matter if I'm going to the grocery shop or to visit a friend, these streets always have ‘something to photograph somewhere’ so I'm avoiding ‘missing out on some pictures’ by carrying my camera with me... And thanks to it, today I have more diverse and street photos to share with you!... Come on, I invite you to take a look at this!...

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Bienvenidos a una nueva edición de mis series de fotografías callejeras en blanco y negro para #monomad... Ultima mente he decidido llevar la mochila con mi cámara prácticamente cada vez que salgo a la calle. Indiferentemente de que vaya a la tienda de abarrotes o a visitar a alguna amistad, estas calles siempre tienen "algo para fotografiar en algún lugar" así que estoy evitando "perderme de algunas fotos" llevando mi cámara conmigo... ¡Y gracias a eso, hoy traje más fotos diversas y callejeras para compartir con ustedes!... ¡Ven, te invito a mirar esto!...

The people here are - in the main - charming, and it is because of this that they form a very important part of my photographic record in the town's streets... I know almost everyone here and it is thanks to this that I can photograph them very comfortably and almost unnoticed. Although many of the villagers already know that, when I appear on a street, it's almost certain that I'll take a photograph of them and then I'm the one who has to ‘pretend not to be interested’ in order to get a spontaneous image... But anyway, all this is nice to do!... ;)

Las personas aquí son -en su mayor parte- encantadoras, y es debido a eso que ellas forman parte muy importante de mi registro fotográfico en las calles del pueblo... Conozco a casi todos aquí y es gracias a eso que puedo fotografiarles con mucha comodidad y prácticamente sin advertirles. Aunque ya muchos de los pobladores saben que, cuando aparezco en una calle, es casi seguro que les haré una fotografía y entonces soy yo quien tengo que "hacerme el desentendido" para poder lograr una imagen espontánea... ¡Pero en fin, todo esto es lindo de hacer!... ;)

And obviously, the dogs!... Could Montalbán be so ‘street-therapeutic’ without our dogs?...The answer is ‘no’!... The streets of this town are linked in a very intimate way to the presence of dogs... I know that this is something not very popular in many places in the world, but here in this small town in Venezuela the presence of stray dogs is something seen as normal by the people. So, when one likes to take street photos, photographing dogs is practically like photographing ‘one more inhabitant of the village’ in many cases... That's why they are always in many of my photos! ;)

¡Y obviamente los perros!...¿Podría Montalbán tan "callejeramente terapéutico" sin nuestros perros?... ¡La respuesta es "no"!... Las calles de este pueblo están ligadas de manera muy intima a la presencia del perros... Ya sé que esto es algo no muy bien visto en muchos lugares del mundo, pero aquí en este pequeño pueblo de Venezuela la presencia de perros callejeros es algo visto como normal por las personas. Entonces, cuando uno gusta de hacer fotos callejeras, fotografiar perros es algo prácticamente como fotografiar "un habitante más del pueblo" en muchos casos... ¡Debido a eso siempre están en muchas de mis fotos! ;)

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
