I will start this post by confessing that last night, just before going to sleep, I said to myself: "Tomorrow morning I will go for a walk and try to run a little bit, but I will do it without my camera" and I decided to do that because when I go for a walk with my camera, the level of physical exercise I do is very low because I usually stop every moment to take pictures, so I am not really exercising enough.

Comenzaré esta publicación confesando que anoche, justo antes de irme a dormir, me dije a mi mismo: "Mañana temprano saldré a caminar y a intentar correr un poco, pero lo haré sin llevar mi cámara" y me propuse hacer eso debido a que cuando salgo a caminar llevando mi cámara, en nivel de ejercicio físico que hago es muy bajo, pues suelo detenerme a cada momento para hacer fotografías, así que en realidad no me estoy ejercitando lo suficiente.

I went to sleep with that firm purpose and woke up as I almost always do, a little before 5 AM.... I came out of my room and looked at all that dense, thick and almost poetic fog penetrating every corner of the garden and even entering my house through the windows. Then I knew that I was very close to break the promise I had made to myself to go out and exercise without my camera.

Me fui a dormir con ese firme propósito y desperté como casi siempre lo hago, un poco antes de las 5 AM... Salí de mi habitación y miré toda aquella niebla densa, espesa y casi poética penetrando cada rincón del jardín e incluso entrando a mi casa a través de las ventanas. Entonces supe que estaba a punto de incumplir la promesa que me había hacho a mi mismo de salir a ejercitarme sin llevar mi cámara fotográfica.

So it was that, letting out a wry smile, I brushed my teeth, washed my face, made coffee with toast, had that little breakfast, then went for my camera and attached my old 100mm prime lens and then escaped into the streets without the slightest intention of exercising too much, but to take a few pictures in that magical morning mist to which I almost worship when it visits us in town.

Así fue como, dejando escapar una sonrisa irónica, cepillé mi dentadura, me enjuagué el rostro, preparé café con pan tostado, tomé ese pequeño desayuno, luego fui por mi cámara y le coloqué mi viejo objetivo de focal fija 100mm para luego escaparme hacia las calles sin la menor intención de ejercitarme demasiado, sino de hacer unas cuantas fotografías embebido esa niebla mañanera y mágica a la cual ya casi rindo culto cuando nos visita en el pueblo.

So, all these pictures were taken very early today, Monday. I actually left my house a little before 6 AM and as soon as I set foot on the street I started taking pictures and before 8 AM I was back.... That's how I got all these pictures which became the main content of this post and (it couldn't be otherwise) my entry to today's #monomad challenge!... It's a Monday which dawned very specially for black and white undoubtedly!

Entonces, todas estas fotografías las capturé hoy Lunes muy temprano. De hecho salí de mi casa un poco antes de las 6 AM y apenas puse un pie en la calle comencé a hacer fotos y antes de las 8 AM ya estaba de regreso... ¡Así fue como obtuve todas estas fotografías las cuales se convirtieron en el contenido principal de esta publicación y (no podía ser de otra manera) mi entrada al reto #monomad de hoy!... ¡Es un lunes el cual amaneció muy especialmente para blanco y negro indudablemente!

Obviously... I'm forced to go out and work out better during the afternoon today!.... And I hope I have enough willpower to go out without my camera... 😂

Obviamente... Estoy obligado a salir a ejercitarme mejor durante la tarde de hoy!... Y espero tener la suficiente fuerza de voluntad para salir sin mi cámara caray... 😂

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
