Hello monochromatic community!
Here I propose these studio portraits of a dear friend of mine. She is a professional dancer, and although she is now away from the stage, her art has not diminished at all. May, as we call her, is a woman full of life, vibrant, who transmits tremendous energy.
Taking pictures of her is always a delight because directing models is very simple, we just have to tell her a few guidelines of what we want and that's it. She knows her body very well and I love the way she manages to deconstruct herself to give us really incredible figures.
The session had several outfit changes and some of them I will post here or in color in another community, because I really loved all the work.
As you can see in the pictures she is not a girl... strawberry ? Vanilla ? hahahahahaha I don't know what flavor term your country uses (here in Cuba it's strawberry) but she radiates power in every photo. She loves to wear black and face the world with strength.
That day we had a lot of fun and she was delighted to be able to show her photos to her teenage sons, because as she says, these boys think that one is only "their mom and nothing else". And May is definitely a great mom, but she is also so much more.

Acá les propongo estos retratos realizados en estudio a una amiga. Ella es bailarina profesional, y aunque ya está alejada delos escenarios de forma activa, su arte no ha disminuido en nada. May, como le llamamos, es una mujer llena de vida, vibrante, que transmite una energía tremenda.
Hacerle fotos siempre es una delicia porque la dirección de modelos es muy sencilla, solo tenemos que indicarle algunas pautas de lo que queremos y listo. Ella conoce su cuerpo muy bien y me encanta la forma en que logra desestructurarse para darnos figuras realmente increíbles.
La sesión tuvo varios cambios de vestuarios y algunos de ellos los iré posteando acá o a color en otra comunidad, porque la verdad me encantó todo el trabajo.
Como pueden ver en las fotos ella no es una chica... fresa!? Vainilla!? jajajaj no sé que termino de sabor emplean en su países ( acá en Cuba es fresa) sino que irradia potencia en cada foto. Adora vestir de negro y enfrentar al mundo con fuerzas.
Ese día nos divertimos mucho y ella estaba encantada de poder mostrarle sus fotos a sus hijos varones adolescentes, porque como ella dice, estos muchachos se creen que uno solo es "su mamá y nada más". Y definitivamente May es una magnifica madre, pero también es mucho más.
