Walking through the forest
Caracas afternoons are usually the most pleasant times of the day, as a serene breeze and pleasant weather invites us to go out and take a walk that allows us to relax and think about the great things that life gives us. There are many suitable spaces to entertain us on a city afternoon, but really the FACES Forest in the heart of the university city is one of the quietest and most interesting places where we can be, since it is an area dominated by nature, but shaped by human ingenuity, which allowed a perfect coexistence and a truly artistic structural harmony.

Caminando por el Bosque
Las tardes caraqueñas suelen ser los momentos más agradables del día, ya que una brisa serena y un clima agradable nos invita a salir y dar una caminata que nos permita relajarnos y pensar en las grandes cosas que nos regala la vida. Son muchos los espacios adecuados y para entretenernos en una tarde citadina, pero realmente el Bosque de FACES en pleno corazón de la ciudad universitaria es uno de los lugares más tranquilos e interesantes en los que podamos estar, ya que se trata de un área dominada por la naturaleza, pero moldeada gracias al Ingenio humano, el cual permitió una convivencia perfecta y una armonía estructural realmente artística.
There are very few spaces where architecture and nature manage to coexist in such a symmetrical and attractive way, where at the same time an atmosphere of peace is generated, which is ideal to lie at the foot of a tree, close your eyes and think about the greatness of life, the dreams of the future and the complexities of our current reality. Personally, this is a space that brings to my mind great memories, since I spent many years of my college years in this area, many times studying for complicated mid-term exams, but other times smiling and joking in the company of dear friends.
Son muy pocos los espacios en donde arquitectura y naturaleza logran coexistir de una forma tan simétrica y atractiva, en donde al mismo tiempo se genera un ambiente de mucha paz, el cual es ideal para recostarse a los pies de un árbol, cerrar los ojos y pensar en la grandeza de la vida, los sueños del futuro y en las complejidades de nuestra realidad actual. Personalmente Este es un espacio que trae a mi mente grandes recuerdos, puesto que en ese engramado y sobre esos caminos de cemento pase muchos años de mi época universitaria, muchas veces estudiando para parciales complicados, pero en otras ocasiones sonriendo y bromeando en compañía de amistades entrañables.
To tell the truth this forest is an area that I always considered as my own, since as a student of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences (FACES), I considered it a fundamental part of the territory of my Faculty and therefore I can say with total pride that I enjoyed it and lived it to the fullest, which is why when I return and see its grandeur and magnificence, I have no choice but to smile and remember the beautiful and good times I had the opportunity to enjoy there.
A decir verdad este bosque es una zona que siempre considere como propia, puesto que al ser estudiante de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Sociales (FACES), lo consideraba una parte fundamental del territorio de mi Facultad y por lo tanto puedo decir con total orgullo que lo disfruté y lo vivía al máximo, es por ello que cuando regreso y veo su grandeza y magnificencia, no me queda otra opción que sonreír y recordar los lindos y buenos momentos que tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar allí.
I have always held the idea that all universities should have their own campus, since this allows the student to be able to be formed from a full point of view, acquiring knowledge of both their own area of study and other fundamental elements for the development of society. The University City of Caracas is a true example of the integration between nature, art and architecture, from its spaces that has demonstrated that we can manage to coexist in a harmonious world, where we respect the existence of life in all its forms and at the same time where we generate cozy and beautiful places, where we can breathe fresh air, while we immerse ourselves in a quiet atmosphere, full of nuances and that crosses the days to the rhythm of the sounds of nature and the city.
Yo siempre he sostenido la idea de que todas las universidades deben contar con un campus propio, ya que esto le permite al estudiante poder formarse desde un punto de vista pleno, adquiriendo conocimientos tanto de su área propia de estudios como de otros elementos fundamentales para el desarrollo en sociedad. La Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas es un verdadero ejemplo de la integración entre la naturaleza, el arte y la arquitectura, desde sus espacios que ha demostrado que podemos lograr convivir en un mundo armónico, en donde respetemos la existencia de la vida en todas sus formas y al mismo tiempo en donde generemos lugares acogedores y lindos, en los cuales podemos respirar aire puro, mientras nos sumergimos en una atmósfera tranquila, llena de matices y que atraviesa los días al ritmo de los sonidos propios de la naturaleza y la ciudad.
