The building of the National Theater from 1869, without colour - Entry for the #monomad challenge

Although I went on a tour of the National Theater in Belgrade just two months ago, I took advantage of the invitation to attend the same tour again, and this time I fit into the era of this theater with photos.
I photographed in black and white, without color, and the photos I took on that occasion are now shared with you in #monomad

You can watch the full color version from February if you want at @duskobgd/in-the-heart-of-the

The theater building was built in 1869 and is celebrating 155 years of existence.
Although James Clerk Maxwell took the first color photograph way back in 1861, before the theater building was built, I believe photographs of the theater back then would have been just like this, in black and white.

In addition to the interesting exterior architecture of the building, I also photographed the stage, the lodges, the picture on the ceiling and as a specialty, since we were allowed to go up on the stage, I also photographed the audience seats.

The corridors to the lodges have always seemed mysterious to me, and without color that impression is intensified.

As the most beautiful photo of this #monomad contest, I would show a picture of the ceiling of the gallery on the first floor, with beautiful lamps, ornaments and decorations.

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Thank you for stopping by my post and I hope you enjoyed the photos and the story I shared with you
