This place is Grand Bassin, the most sacred Hindu place on the island and one of the most important outside India. The lake is a crater lake located in the south-west part of the island of Mauritius. The place is quite big, and even I have been there several times, it's always a pleasure to visit the place which has sevral temples and statues of Hindu deities standing in the lake.
