Portrait photography

I like to photograph portraits, but almost exclusively in black and white. In this way, I remove almost everything that interferes with the photography emphasizing emotion, light and atmosphere.
And when you take pictures of people you see for the first time and only for a few seconds, you don't know anything about them and you will probably never see them again, how to know if it's the right moment and the mood you're showing? And what is the right moment? What does it mean when every expression is theirs and maybe something that someone who knows them can't notice? Maybe we don't see the people we know in the right light, and we get to know a stranger better in that one moment. Maybe I'm just philosophizing too much.

Some people use words, others use light to say what they feel.
