Living in the coastal place is very perfect. We can buy fresh fish and sometimes we can get it for free by helping lefting their small boats. I don't think if it is the same in your place.
Here in the Philippines, people rushed to the shoreline every early morning to help lefting those small boats and as an exchange of the good deeds, the fishermen gave them plenty of fresh fish.
