Just Anything in Orange, featuring the Orange Halo-Halo Cup

Orange is my least favorite color. I don't hate it, but I find it so bright that I can't like it more. My eyes are so used to dark colors that when I go outside and see bright colors like orange, I feel like getting a headache from looking at them. Is it just me?

Anyway, we have this neighbor who owns an e-bike, and they park it outside, of course. They also put a cover on it, which is really orangey. It's not like I'm complaining or what, but it's really bright. Well, if I also park a vehicle outside, I will also put something bright to cover it so that even at night, people who walk by can see it or those who are driving, especially since we are living close to the highway. I guess bright colors really have a lot of use for people.

By the way, I tried checking my chest drawer to see if I owned any orange clothes. In my head, I'm sure that I don't have that color in my wardrobe. And upon checking it, yeah, I'm right, I don't really own a shirt, a short, or even an undergarment in orange. Just a slight touch of orange, I have it on some of my black clothes, but as for the whole thing, nah, I don't have it. How about you? If you know Karasuno, then you know that orange is their color.

Moving on, in my search for the color orange, I saw this long cup in my mama's house just lying on her organizer. Seeing it made me remember Halo-Halo (literally just Mix-Mix), or that dessert she used to sell in front of our house. Every afternoon during the summer, she will sell a Halo-Halo, and she uses this kind of cup for that Dessert.

I also remember that when it's closing time and there are still some ingredients left, we will beg my mama to eat a halo-halo. We have to cry a river first before she allows us, but it's understandable because it's her business, you know. It's not like she can gain lots of profit from selling it, lol.

There are times that she will say yes to our begging, but with the condition that we are the ones who will make it. It's really just easy to make a Halo-Halo, what just makes it harder is crushing the ice manually using the ice crusher, which requires strength to be able to do that.

But well, for the love of food, I will go do it, even if it takes us too long to complete it. To the point that some of the ice is already melting. It is just the thing we have to do to eat it, lol. It's still a fun memory for me. And I treasure that kind of memory because it makes me happy.

And here's another orange thing, which this time is a papaya fruit. I shared about this papaya tree before, and it still bears fruit even today. And there are those unripe ones left. We already harvested a lot on this tree, and seriously, having your own tree like this has lots of benefits. How's the papaya tree in your area, guys? Or even just any fruit that bears fruit right now? I hope you have a lot.
