Hive blockchain was well represented during the recently concluded Bull or Bear (BoB) Traditional Arts & NFT Debate held at the Imahica Arts Gallery, through the efforts made by blockchain developer and D.Buzz co-founder Nathan Senn who presented a 5-minute keynote speech showcasing Hive's fast, scalable, and powerful ecosystem.
The Bull or Bear Arts & NFT Debate dubbed "Brushes & Pixels" was held yesterday afternoon at Imahica, an independent gallery that exhibits contemporary art, one of the newest here in the Philippines. Imahica Art Gallery is located at 2A Lee Gardens Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Blockchain developer Nathan Senn caught the attention of the attendees during the Bull or Bear event in Manila for his concise and brief introduction and presentation of how the Hive Blockchain worked.
One of the most significant highlights of the D.Buzz co-founder was the video presentation included in the five-minute speech of Nathan Senn wherein Tiktok content creator presented the prevailing problems of Web2 and presented a solution to the problems with the use of Hive and Web3.
The audience estimated to be around 100-120 people were also amazed at the photo presented on the slides showcasing Nathan Senn rubbing shoulders with Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin as they were caught off guard seeing a person who happened to meet one of the most recognizable figures in the cryptocurrency industry worldwide.
Hive Team the First to Arrive at the Bull or Bear Event:
The Hive Team from Davao City together with some Hive users who are already here in Metro Manila arrived first at the venue of the Bull or Bear Event which took us around 20 minutes only from the place where we stayed here in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila.
We were so early at the venue because we were slowly adopting the punctuality behavior of our American counterparts composed of D.Buzz Founder Chris Rice, Blockchain Developer and Hive Speaker Nathan Senn, businessman and founder of Tagetron.com, PJ Entrepreneur. These people inculcated punctuality behavior which is uncommon among Filipinos here in the Philippines.
Although our team was grouped into two, the first group is composed of Chris Rice, Rafael, Noel, and Ron David. We arrived at the venue at around 2:03 PM for the scheduled 4:00 PM event. The second group was composed of Nathan Senn, Kenny Owano, Tony Rebamonte, and PJ Entrepreneur. They arrived at around 2:24 PM.
The Bull or Bear: Brushes & Pixels (A Debate on Art & NFTs) event actually started at exactly 4:08 PM hosted by celebrity host Edrei Tan.

Significance of the BoB Debate:
The Bull or Bear Manila event was significant among Web3 enthusiasts particularly those who are having conversations between traditional art and NFTs. The event which was held inside an Art Gallery aims to foster a dialogue on the future of art through NFTs and traditional art.
During the debate, we were able to see leaders from both the traditional art and the NFT arts or people both in the physical world and from the internet merging in one room as presented by Bitskwela, one of the leading educational technology firms here in the Philippines.
The Bull or Bear Debate in Manila featuring NFT and traditional art is one of the most anticipated pre-events organized by Bitskwela dubbed Bull or Bear: Philippine Web3 Debate 2023 Cebu edition, which will be held at the Ayala Malls Central Bloc, Cebu IT Park, Cebu City on July 15.
How Nathan Senn & Hive Caught the Audience's Attention:
The debate in Manila also showcased Nathan Senn's amazing presentation about Hive, Web3, and the importance of account ownership. He even mentioned how he believed Hive could change the crypto industry with its amazing feature of being a fast, scalable, powerful blockchain.
The Hive Team which flew straight from Davao City to Manila made a successful presentation of what Hive can offer to the Web3 space emphasizing the transaction speed of the cryptocurrency that beats all the other crypto projects.
Nathan Senn also revealed during the presentation that Hive is an ecosystem consisting of hundreds of Decentralized Applications (DApps). The video presentation prepared by Tiktok content creator Tony Rebamonte, which was embedded in the 5-minute presentation was also amazing and really interesting.
The video presentation showcased the primary problems of Web2 social media and how the Hive Ecosystem solved the problem. The 5-minute presentation from Hive was the most applauded one during the Bitskwela event in Manila for its short, simple, and concise message delivery.

Brian Poe Llamanzares:
One of the most prominent personalities who attended the Bull or Bear event in Manila is the son of a Philippine legislator, Brian Poe Llamanzares, one of the debaters of the event. He worked as Chief of Staff in the Philippine Senate for the office of his mother, Senator Grace Poe.
Brian Poe Llamanzares is the co-founder of Artifract.io, a platform that democratizes Fine Arts ownership by fractionalizing them as NFTs.
Ian Fulgar:
A prominent figure in the Philippine art scene and founder of Imahica Art Gallery, Ian Fulgar. He is also the founder and principal of Fulgar Architects. He brought a unique perspective to the debate and shed light on the evolving landscape of digital art.
Marso Ya:
She is a rising Filipino illustrator and one of the members of Crypto Art PH and LevelArtGuild. Marso Ya is a serial entrepreneur and content creator.
Chris Tan:
He is a cryptocurrency investor and one of the most vocal debater and a sensational one, particularly his insights against NFTs although he is also a believer of Non-Fungible Tokens or NFTs.
Jeffrey Bondoc:
Founder of Filipino group of Bored Ape and Mutant Ape holders from the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection of BAYCkada. Alongside Chris Tan, I think among the debaters they were the having the most number of insights during the event.
