Story of New Year's Day in Northern Thailand, Story 2 : Wan Phaya Wan(วันพญาวัน).

🖊️ Hello everyone. Today, Thai people in the north are called Wan Phaya Wan. It is the New Year's day for the northern Thai people. This morning I wrote Story about New Year's Day. And This post in the ASEAN community. I write more stories from last post.

On April 15, every year, northern Thai people Call today Wan Phaya Wan วันพญาวัน. Wan Phaya Wan for Thai language mean A day that is great than any other day. The beginning of a new day or new year's day of the northern people.

Many people may not know is northern people will call themselves Lanna people. The old northern traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation are called Lanna traditions.

Lanna tradition that everyone practices on the day of Phaya Wan (New Year's Day) In the morning everyone will go to the temple to Give the offering dedicated to the monks. Northern people will call Give the offering dedicated to the monks as ตานขันข้าว to dedicate to ancestors.

Another Lanna tradition is that people in the North will bring flags in style that is Lanna art, To pin it in the sand pile or some temples will make a sand pagoda. Believed to be able to save spirits who have gone to hell Requiescat In Pace.

Another belief of Thai people big trees have angels live in trees. Today, village people will bring crutches. big tree in the temple. believing that this ritual will help prosper everything.

Traditional rituals next, after returning home, pour water on an elder's hands with the old people in the village. My village has 3 elderly people and my wife's mother. that my wife and I pour water on an elder's hands.

🖊️สวัสดีทุกคนครับ วันนี้คนไทย ในภาคเหนือ เรียกว่า วันพญาวัน เป็นวันขึ้นปีใหม่ ของชาวไทย ภาคเหนือ เช้านี้ ฉันเขียน เรื่องราว วันปีใหม่ ไปแล้ว และ โพสต์นี้ ใน ประชาคมอาเซียน ฉันเขียน เรื่องราว เพิ่มเติม จากโพสต์ ที่แล้ว วันที่ 15 เมษายน ของทุกปี ชาวไทยภาคเหนือ เรียกวันนี้ว่า วันพญาวัน วันพญาวัน สำหรับ ภาษาไทย หมายถึง วันที่ยิ่งใหญ่ กว่าวันอื่น ๆ การเริ่มต้น วันใหม่ หรือ วันขึ้นปีใหม่ ของชาวเหนือ หลายคน อาจจะ ไม่รู้ว่า คนเหนือ จะเรียก ตัวเองว่า ชาวล้านนา ประเพณี เก่าแก่ ทางภาคเหนือ ที่สืบทอดกันมา จากรุ่นสู่รุ่น เรียกว่า ประเพณีล้านนา ประเพณีล้านนา ที่ทุกคนปฏิบัติ ในวันพญาวัน (วันปีใหม่) ในตอนเช้า ทุกคน จะไปที่วัด เพื่อถวายเครื่องบูชาแก่พระสงฆ์ สังฆทาน ชาวเหนือ จะเรียก ถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระภิกษุว่า ตานขันข้าว เพื่ออุทิศ ให้กับ บรรพบุรุษ ประเพณีล้านนา อีกประการหนึ่งคือ คนในภาคเหนือ จะนำธงแบบศิลปะล้านนา มาปักไว้ ในกองทราย หรือ บางวัด จะทำเจดีย์ทราย เชื่อว่า สามารถให้วิญญาณ ที่ตกนรก สู่สุคติได้ครับ

🖊️ ความเชื่อ อีกอย่าง ของคนไทย ต้นไม้ใหญ่ มีเทวดา อาศัยอยู่ ในต้นไม้ วันนี้ ชาวบ้าน จะนำไม้ค้ำยัน ต้นไม้ใหญ่ ในวัด เชื่อว่า พิธีกรรมนี้ จะช่วยให้ ทุกอย่าง เจริญรุ่งเรือง พิธีกรรม ตามประเพณีต่อไป เมื่อกลับถึงบ้าน ให้เทน้ำใส่มือผู้เฒ่า กับ ผู้เฒ่าในหมู่บ้าน หมู่บ้านของฉัน มีผู้สูงอายุ 3 คน และ แม่ของภรรยาฉัน ที่ฉันและภรรยา ต้องเทน้ำใส่มือของผู้เฒ่า พิธีทางศาสนา สุดท้าย ของวันนี้ คือ ขบวนแห่พระพุทธรูป เพื่อเทน้ำบนองค์พระ นี่คือเรื่องราวทั้งหมดในวันนี้ แล้วพบกันอีก. ขอบคุณสำหรับการสนับสนุนฉันครับ
