Cozy Weather, Long Nights, and LED Lights

There is a slight chill in the air--a subtle change in the weather.

More of a call to the change of season, a warmer home where most people prefer the atmosphere of joyful songs of merryment in the holidays.

I live in a tropical country, of course, but because we are slightly above the equator we felt the slight coldness in the air, the crisp autumn air far up north on the winter that is coming. We felt it too and I'm gland for its start. Knowing the holidays are near and the families gather together around for the celebrations.

Filipinos had the longest Christmas they say, but there is a reason for that, not because of religion which is so easy to understand but because it is the time of the year where families would gather around together and to feast together like it is the first time they shared a meal. It is a feast and a celebration of lasting relationship that has become now part of our culture and tradition.

Safe to say that 'Christmas is in the air,' people had now started putting on LED lights and decorations. Songs of merryment are now heard and thoughtful gifts are now being considered.

We happen to have a fiesta in December too, although I'm not a Catholic and we never really decorated for Christmas, we respect people and we celebrate with them too. We are a big community that as I grow older I realized that I never should have thought bad about religion, but rather respect people as they are. We haven't celebrated fiesta for years now but for the sake of others our homes are open for visitors who would like to come by.

Also, in holidays our relatives would visit us and we visit them too,and it had become a tradition. We are quite lucky to create a wholesome tradition and hosted an annual event as this. Our family might have changed yet since we gather around each year, we celebrate each other too. It is the time to reconnect and to rebuild as well.

The nights colder and the rains longer but with LED lights around we will enjoy it this year, and now that the borders had opened, the calories are the only

Hoping to see another fireworks display this December, it is not all the time to see the fireworks up close but years ago I've seen a 30-minute display just above our heads and it is also the last time I've seen a spectacular one. Today, the town would spend a lot for a 15-minute fireworks display with mostly a monotone colors.

If it meant money I should have just expect a common fireworks but it is not about that, it is the welcome of the year that is ahead of us and it should be full of colors.
