Halo Everyone

The natural scenery that we witness will always be able to present a new dimension in our understanding of the greatness of the almighty creator. Of course for those of us who are realize not to let what is presented before us gone away. The view that we can see in the image of this post, for example. There are many meanings regarding the magnitude of the power invisible to the naked eye that created it. Of course there will be many interpretations from all of you regarding this matter.

The Ulee Kareng area, Banda Aceh is an area that is also traversed by the Krueng Aceh River. On several previous occasions in the Indonesian Hive community, I had already shared about this river that had an important role in the era of the Aceh Sultanate around the 15th century. I think that era was indeed a golden age for us in the Southeast Asian region. This river route that empties into the open sea is a trade route where the Malacca Strait is the prima donna route which is the entry point for Europeans to stick their nails in the Southeast Asian region.

Southeast Asia, especially Maluku (The Province in East Indonesia), is a source of spices such as cloves and nutmeg. These two products traded to Europe, the Middle East and China, at that time had not been produced outside the small islands of Maluku. It was the Chinese who first discovered the value of cloves. Chinese sailors came directly to Maluku. But then their role was replaced by Malays and Javanese, namely among them were Chinese who defected and chose to live in Malay and Javanese areas.

The city that I now live in, Banda Aceh, can be said to be a port city which in that century was passed by many merchant ships from Europe, China and India. but the aceh people never really had good memories of trade relations with these foreign nations. The cause is none other than the greed of foreign nations who actually want to rule over land that is not the land where they should be to rule. Aceh, which has now become part of the Indonesian state, will always openly receive guests from various countries. We have no antipathy to a mutually beneficial cooperative relationship. However, we will not tolerate any form of modern colonialism from outsiders who want to rule in the land where our ancestors were born and buried. Land that will later become a place where we, the latest generation, live and die on it.
