On this very precious occasion I would like to tell you about the walimah which was held in Aceh. walimah is held tomorrow, on this day relatives and neighbors visit it, and help prepare for walimah for tomorrow. I also helped to build the terraces. The women also helped with whatever they could do. One of them was seen by women cleaning cassava leaves and cutting them to make pickles.
I am very tired today besides that I also cut small bamboo to make a welcome gate. to welcome invited guests. We are very compact to help each other when holding walimah.
and this is the kitchen for cooking rice and side dishes that we prepared a few days ago. This kitchen is only used for two days, today and tomorrow.
the person who cooks white rice and vegetables is the person chosen by the local community. because cooking rice in large quantities requires experience and skill so that the rice that will be served to visitors is satisfying. I really salute this cultural custom that has been passed down for generations
still compact, in helping families who organize walimah.
The pelaminan is also provided today and I also took pictures of the pelaminan which is being designed. This pelaminan is used in the morning and dismantled in the afternoon. and I also talked with the owner what is the price for this pelaminan board in one day.
