Todos te dicen que trabajes por Internet, y cuando empiezas no encuentras trabajo.
Entonces, ¿cuál es el problema?
Te preguntas si sirves para ello, e incluso pones en dudas tus habilidades. Principalmente, porque a nivel internacional o en Internet son más los requerimientos. Y lo que nadie te dice es que hay que observar con detalle la diferencia entre el trabajo presencial y el trabajo online.
Tampoco lo entendía cuando empecé. Creí que era igual a mi trabajo en la oficina. Con el tiempo, después de dedicarme arduamente a comprender este mundo, logré abrir los ojos.
Hay una gran diferencia entre ambos, así que te mostraré algo que puede ser de tu interés.

Parte de conseguir un nuevo trabajo consiste en adaptar tu mente a ello. Así pasa con el mundo virtual.
Ya no estás en una oficina con tus compañeros y tu jefe. Ahora estás en casa. De forma que las responsabilidades son tuyas, conseguir clientes, organizar tu horario de trabajo, y estar dispuesto constantemente a aprender, son cosas que, aunque puedan sacarnos de nuestra zona de confort, nos ayudarán a concentrarnos en nuestros objetivos.
Incluso, te das cuenta de que tener "habilidades" solo por tenerlas, no es un plus hasta que las perfeccionas para vivir de ellas.
En la oficina usaba mis conocimientos básicos sobre el manejo de Microsoft Excel, con ello me bastaba. Sin embargo, al dejar mi trabajo dije "bueno, con lo que se resuelvo".
Y sí, efectivamente, puedo solventar muchas situaciones con mis conocimientos, que actualmente han aumentado gracias a la investigación y la práctica.
Así que sobre ello quiero hablarte hoy.
El trabajo virtual no es igual que ir a tu trabajo todos los días
Los retos son diferentes, las habilidades que ya tienes se complementan con las que vas a adquirir, y la elección depende de tus necesidades.
Para un ama de casa, o una persona con hijos, el trabajo virtual puede ser de gran ayuda. De igual forma para un estudiante universitario o un adolescente. O, cualquier persona que desee un estilo de vida donde tenga más libertad sobre su tiempo.

Uso de herramientas
Cuando decidimos empezar cualquier trabajo, debemos de aprender a manejar las herramientas necesarias.
Para ello, mi recomendación personal es investigar sobre todo lo que necesita, en esto YouTube puede ser tu mejor amigo. En esta web puedes encontrar información totalmente gratuita y al alcance de algunos clics, solo colocando las palabras correctas en el buscador.
Durante este proceso iremos anotando todo lo que necesitamos para empezar a poner en marcha el proceso de aprendizaje. Del cual no te debes de preocupar porque es muy sencillo.
Solo debes descargar e instalar las apps (en tu teléfono) o programas (en tu computadora).
Y lo que harás es buscar nuevamente tutoriales en YouTube, o, indagar por tu propia cuenta, utilizando todas las funciones que tenga la app o programa.
De esta manera aprendí a usar lo básico y un medianamente avanzado de Notion. Una app que me parecía sumamente complicada, cuando en realidad solo necesitaba darle un poco de uso para entenderla.

¡No te conformes! Empecemos por allí. En el mundo virtual puedes conseguir empleo hablando español, pero, no te limites solo a ello. Preocúpate y ocúpate de aprender constantemente. Un nuevo idioma, mejorar tu ortografía, tu redacción, tu capacidad para diseñar, y así cada día.
Que no te intimiden los requerimientos que ves en las webs de empleo, todo lo contrario, toma nota de ello para poder aprender todo lo que necesitas para así estar al día con lo que pide el mercado.
Así que, no temas. El trabajo virtual es igual que ir por primera vez a llevar el currículum.
