Cuando se habla de alcanzar el éxito, muchas veces se menciona la importancia de la perseverancia, pero pocos destacan el poder de disfrutar el camino. Hoy quiero compartir contigo una experiencia personal que me enseñó que, a veces, el viaje es más valioso que el destino. Te contaré cómo pasé 9 meses publicando todos los días antes de pode encontrar mi primer cliente, y cómo esa experiencia moldeó mi mentalidad y mi enfoque hacia el trabajo.

La Mentalidad Correcta

Desde el principio, mi enfoque no fue "voy a hacerlo hasta que funcione". En lugar de eso, decidí que iba a hacerlo porque realmente me encantaba. Esto cambió por completo mi perspectiva. No me puse una fecha límite ni me presioné con expectativas externas. En cambio, me concentré en vivir cada momento del proceso.

Si solo piensas en la meta, podrías perderte las vistas espectaculares a lo largo del camino. Pero si te permites observar el trayecto, cada paso se convierte en una experiencia y en una victoria. ¡Porque no has parado de correr!

Estableciendo Objetivos Significativos

Durante esos 9 meses, establecí objetivos que no tenían nada que ver con el dinero. En lugar de enfocarme en los likes[[]] o en cómo se comparaban mis publicaciones con las de otros, decidí centrarme en aspectos que realmente me ayudarían a crecer como escritor:

No sobrepasar el número de caracteres: Aprendí a ser conciso y claro.
Encontrar mi horario de escritura: Descubrí cuándo era más productivo.
Desarrollar un estilo propio: Comencé a experimentar con diferentes voces y enfoques.

Cada pequeño logro en estas áreas se convirtió en una fuente de motivación. La clave aquí es que cada uno de estos objetivos estaba alineado con mi crecimiento personal, no con métricas externas.

La Importancia de Mejorar un 1% Cada Día

Cuando llegué a la marca de los 9 meses y finalmente hice mi primer dólar. 🕺

Comprendí algo fundamental: si me hubiera concentrado en criterios externos como el número de vistas o comparaciones con otros escritores, probablemente no hubiera disfrutado del proceso ni habría persistido lo suficiente para ver resultados.

La verdadera magia está en mejorar ese 1% cada día. Este enfoque no solo te permite avanzar, sino que también te brinda la satisfacción de ver tu progreso. Cada pequeña victoria alimenta tu motivación y te empuja a seguir adelante.

Nunca Sabes Cuándo Empezará a Funcionar

Una lección crucial que aprendí es que nunca sabes cuándo van a empezar a funcionar las cosas para ti. Podría ser mañana o podría ser dentro de 9 meses. Lo importante es mantenerte enfocado en desarrollar tus habilidades.

La motivación proviene de las victorias acumuladas en el camino. Cada vez que superas un desafío o logras un objetivo personal, refuerzas tu identidad como alguien capaz y competente. Esto es lo que realmente importa.

Transformando tu Identidad

Hoy, tengo la suerte de vivir de mis letras. Mi enfoque ha cambiado; no se trata solo de hacer mucho o poco, sino de disfrutar lo que hago. Esa transformación se debe a la consistencia y al compromiso con mi crecimiento personal.

Ser consistente me ha llevado a convertirme en una persona que:

Se levanta todos los días para hacer su trabajo: La rutina se ha vuelto parte de mi vida.
Diseña sistemas para mejorar ese 1%: He aprendido a crear estructuras que facilitan mi progreso.
Disfruta del proceso: Cada día es una oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo.

Construyendo tu Carreta

Si tu objetivo es alcanzar una meta ambiciosa, te animo a olvidarte un poco de la distancia o del estado del terreno. En lugar de eso, concéntrate en construir una buena carreta. Esto significa establecer hábitos y sistemas que te ayuden a avanzar sin importar los obstáculos.

La clave está en ser proactivo y diseñar un entorno que fomente tu crecimiento. Por ejemplo, si deseas escribir todos los días, crea un espacio dedicado donde puedas concentrarte sin distracciones.

Escribir todos los días es un superpoder que muchos subestiman. Sin embargo, como mencioné anteriormente, sin un sistema es difícil mantener la consistencia. Te invito a explorar recursos y herramientas que te ayuden a establecer ese sistema.

I didn't set a deadline or pressure myself with external expectations. Instead, I focused on living every moment of the process.

If you only think about the finish line, you might miss the spectacular views along the way. But if you allow yourself to watch the journey, every step becomes an experience and a victory - because you haven't stopped running!

Setting Meaningful Goals

During those 9 months, I set goals that had nothing to do with money. Instead of focusing on likes[[]] or how my posts compared to others, I decided to focus on things that would really help me grow as a writer:

Not going over the character count: I learned to be concise and clear.
Finding my writing schedule**: I discovered when I was most productive.
Developing my own style**: I began to experiment with different voices and approaches.

Each small accomplishment in these areas became a source of motivation. The key here is that each of these goals was aligned with my personal growth, not external metrics.

The Importance of Improving 1% Every Day

A crucial lesson I learned is that you never know when things are going to start working out for you. It could be tomorrow or it could be 9 months from now. The important thing is to stay focused on developing your skills.

Motivation comes from accumulated victories along the way. Every time you overcome a challenge or achieve a personal goal, you reinforce your identity as someone capable and competent. This is what really matters.

Transforming your Identity

Today, I am fortunate to make a living from my writing. My focus has changed; it's not just about making too much or too little, it's about enjoying what I do. That transformation is due to consistency and commitment to my personal growth.

Being consistent has led me to become a person who:

Gets up every day to do my job: Routine has become a part of my life.
Designs systems to improve that 1%: I have learned to create structures that facilitate my progress.
Enjoy the process: Every day is an opportunity to learn something new.
