Scratch Art : Into The Woods

Hey there, art enthusiasts!

I'm thrilled to share my passion for scratch art with you all. This art form has held a special place in my heart from the very beginning of my art journey. The way colors peek through the velvety black surface simply fascinates me and the images that pops that always surprise me. In my eyes, it's a fun, effortless way to create stunning artworks.

What a cozy scene. I made this without a prepared line drawing I just kept scratching the surface until an image was formed. My favorite part is making the trees behind the cabin. Most challenging is the smoke coming out of the chimney and the group of thick trees on the left of the screen.

Scratch art, as the name suggests, involves etching or scratching away a surface to uncover a hidden image or design. It's an excellent avenue for experimenting with various colors and textures. Plus, it's a remarkably calming and therapeutic activity.

The beauty of scratch art lies in its freedom from rigid rules.
