Out of all the perennials for Michigan, the hosta has to be one of my favorites. They are very low maintenance, and come back each year regardless of our winters. They so flower, but fhe real appeal would have to be the leaf colors and patterns.

This year I have plenty of petunias. These first flowers below would have to be my favorites right now. They are blooming relentlessly. There are always the small, delicate flowers on show.
